I would like to subscribe to the BF5 digest. Also, if you have
any information about any shows in the New York/New Jersey/Philadelphia
area in the next week or so (other than tonight--I have a final exam
tomorrow) I would greatly appreciate it if you could let me know.
	Thanks!

Anybody recognize the riff from Gershwin's "Rhapsody in Blue" that Ben
plays during the final solo of "Philosophy?"
It's real brief but I thought it was cool that he would throw
that in there...he must be a Gershwin fan.
	Check it out.

I believe 3 lb. Thrill used to be Uncle Green, out of Atlanta.
I've heard good things about their new album. A friend of mine saw
the BF5 show at the Brewery in Raleigh and said it was the best
thing he's seen in years. Anyone heard anything about Dallas or
Austin concert dates? Thanks. Mike.

Any idea where they're playing tonight (Friday, Jan. 19) It seems weird that
they wouldn't play on a Friday night. Please let me know.

Thanks

Mike

Please add me to your mailing list. I just saw Ben Folds Five
in Hoboken, NJ and they were fantastic. I'd love to find out
what my favorite song "Alice Childress" is about!

Hey everyone!

Has anyone sent that self-addressed stamped envelope to BFF yet? If
you have, could you e-mail me because I have a small question. BTW, in
defense of BNL (and I know this might bug some of you), I really love their
music because they're the ones that got me into music like BFF. Okay, just
my .02! Have a nice day!

This band is great; I love 'em!

Saw them in San Diego after I played the disc to death. They were
better live!

Please add me to the mailing list-- I'm especially interested in
keeping track of the dates in San Diego and Albuquerque.

Regards, Larry

[Ryan: They've hit NYC this week and are on their way up to Connecticut
and Massachusetts this weekend, then over to Albany and down to
Pittsburgh next week (then out our way!! Yay!!). Nothing in Philadelphia
on the list. The most up-to-date list of tour dates is on the web page.

Mike: They aren't listed for anything tonight (Friday). Maybe they wanted
a night off! And where better to party and hear some live music than in
NYC. Maybe they'll pop up somewhere and sit in.

We're up to 94 members, and growing at 1 or 2 a day. Anyone care to guess
when we hit 100? -fjm]
