 Hey all!
I live in the swingin' town of Bloomington, Indiana - home to INDIANA
UNIVERSITY. I've been waiting for some time for BF5 to get around my
way. I'm sure they'd have full support from the campus, students, and
our local progressive radio station. Anyone heard of them being even
 remotely close to here?
 			Thanks,

 Subject: BBF-Piano Music?

I know this is a long shot, but does anyone know if there are any piano
scores available for BF5? I doubt it so if anyone knows the chords around
which each song is played please let me know. I've figured some out by
playing along on guitar (Jackson Cannery starts on C7 right?), but I'm no Ben
Folds on piano yet...hopefully I will be someday:)

 Subject: The Mr Wrong soundtrack

Hi fans!!! It has been a long time that I am here but I don't
speak a lot... Here is my story... One of my friends from Massachssets
told me that she was listening to Ben Folds Five. I have never heard
talking about the band, but I listened to some songs via the
 internet.

The next thing I knew I bought the CD via CD NOW. It is one
of the best CD I have listen to. I can't wait for the next one... By
 the way, when is it???

I also bought the Mr Wrong soundtrack and I loved the song, Song
the dumped. I like the part when Ben says "Give me my money back...
 you bitch"... Amazing...

I want to know if the other soundtrack is any good... The Truth
about cats and dogs. Should I buy it for the BFF song?

Also, I saw a show in July when there was the Lollapalooza tour.
It was the bests of that tour and they talked about BFF. I have it on
tape if anybody wants it. It was on Musique Plus, the french station
 of Much Music!

Anyway, I just wanted to tell anybody that is here that I am
talking to BFF to my friends and they never heard about the band.
Well, the group never came to East canada. I am in Moncton, New
 Brunswick!

I have a show tonight (each friday) on the radio. I put some BFF
 songs. Actually, just one song!!!

     Gotta go... Later fans...

I live in Perth (Western and found out about BFF by JJJ as well. My
brother is the one who listens to JJJ, actually, but I heard Underground
once and immediately started liking BFF. I don't know many people who
have heard of them which is a shame. They should be played on many more
Australian radio stations and be known to more people.

After watching a video of Ben playing live I totaly agree with you. I
laughted at (with) Darren for a long time at the weird face. i thought he
looked like a little boy at Christmas, but I knew that description was
 lacking.

WHOA!!! This is heavy duty stuff!!! I was thinking people were doing it
on the cheap... Obviously they aren;t!!! :)

 > Now what happens when bands allow taping is that you will be allowed to

Yeah, see that;s the prob. I'm not going to do it professionally if I
ever do it. I'll be doing it to get fair quality recordings, however
 possible!!!

Right. This still sounds pretty professional!!! This is really big
business!!! I never knew so much work went into recording just one show!!!
I thought people went in with a tape recorder in their pocket and that was
 it!!! :)

Ok, I might just do that!!!

I found out about them from a guy that I used to rave about the Whitlams

BFF. After hearing Underground and Julianna a few times, I went and bought
 the album!!!

ahhhhh. You mustn't shop at Penrith Plaza Records then. :) They had it
right there behind the counter as if they predicted I would come in and ask
 for it!!! :)

Well, everyone i have made listen to it, likes it. I mean, you either
like that type of music or you don;t. I make sure my friend do!!! :)

Stewart Cochran, noted local keyboard player and fellow employee at Apple
Computer, just pointed out to me that the BF5 stick piano logo on the BF5 CD
is drawn backwards -- the piano should be longer on the LEFT to support the
bass strings. Since I copied the BF5 logo exactly for my tattoo, I now
realize that I'm branded with an anti-piano on my arm. Now I suck for life.

BTW, I am a newcomer to the list, having recently been introduced to the
 *great* BFF.

I thought I'd throw in my own personal opinion on the whole bootlegging
 issue...

While I can see Kate's opinion that it is stealing from the band, I am
more inclined to agree with Dan that the seeker usually already *has* the
various recordings released by the band--

I have some bootleg REM, and it is somewhat bad quality, but because of
my devotion to the band, I enjoy it immensely. However, that doesn't
mean I forgo the legit recordings for boots.

I would *love* to hear some live BFF, seeing as how they aren't touring
Seattle anytime soon (according to the tour dates listed on the web).

 Anyway, just MHO...
