unless you are really interested in charts, it may not be worth your
money. The subscriptions are really expensive. but they have reviews
 which are fun to read.

 Hey all,

I rarely post (well, once to be exact), but I was just so jazzed by
what I heard on the radio yesterday (101.9--a station I listen to
because its the only one in LA that plays BF5 and Barenaked
Ladies every once in a while): that Counting Crows song,
"Monkey," with the line about BF5! I was so excited to hear it, and
I half-expected the station to play a BF5 song next, but, alas, its
 not that cool a station.

 That's all,
 Carolyn

I never actually done this, but I've heard that you can sometimes get some
help from the soundboard man. (Whoops, I mean person, even though I've
never seen a soundboard woman. I don't want to be sexist) Sometimes they
will let you record directly off the board if you bring the right kind of
cables to hook up to your machine. Sometimes you might have to elist George
 Washington or even Ben Franklin.

Here's a pretty cool story that I know you guys might enjoy.

The other day I went into the local music store in Radford, Barry's Music,
and I just spent some time in there hanging out because the drummer in my
band works there. Well, anyway I'm wearing one of my BFF t-shirts and one of
the guys working there (Eric Davis) said "Hey I know the drummer from that
band." I freaked. :) He said "Yeah, we were in a band together in NC. We
were roomates for about a year. The band broke up and Darren and the bass
player moved to Chapel Hill." He said that Darren is one crazy mother F***er
and that he hasn't talked to him in a loooooong time. This is a guy I talk
to on a regular basis and I had no clue that he was Darren Jesse's former
 roomate. I thought that rocked.

Subject: help! which digests have the chords?

 Hey all,

I, like alot of others, am trying to figure out the piano to some of the
BF5 songs and we all know how hard that is, so i know that awhile ago
someone posted some chord progressions on the list, and i'm trying to find
them in the archives and having not much luck. I know i could go thru every
digest but i'm too lazy! ;) so if anyone has the digest number memorized (uh
huh...:D) or at least if anyone out there saved the digest with these chords
and knows which one it is, could you please tell me and the rest of the
 list? Thank you very much.

When I saw 'Backwards Piano' in the subject list I wrongly assumed that it
referred to some part of the BF5 album which when played backwards sounded
like the start of Strawberry Fields or something ... Someone should undertake
this particularly important research ... :) ... Anyone?

Well I had a listen to the song while at the Grace Bros music section and I
have to say that I really liked the song. It'll be good when the Mr Wrong
soundtrack comes out to Australia (I haven't seen it yet). I didn't listen
to the rest of the TTACaD soundtrack but I caught a snippet of the last song
(the one after the BF5 song) and it sounded good. I'd buy it if I had the
money. Cds are so damn expensive out here!

I live in Sydney and I found the "light" through JJJ as I think
 everyone else here did.

It took me a while to find the album too, but I eventually found it
at Planet Hollywood Brashs in the city. It's fantastic!

Hi Ad, I'm afraid I haven't found any singles as yet but I'll let
you know. Do the same, would you? thanks.

hey someone said something in the last armchair about chords to BF5 songs
well i have some that i figured out, but i'm wondering if anyone has the
chords to any of the following songs:

 emmaline
 cool whip
one angry dwarf ( and 200 solemn faces )
 uncle walter
 philosophy
 boxing

if you do either e-mail me privately or ( if it's o.k. ....? ) post them in
 the armchair.
 thanks a lot.
and...... i heard there is a BF5 tape list and i was just wondering if i
could be added on if it's not too late. I've got a few shows.
and...... i also noticed, the other day, that the BF5 stick piano is
 backwards! that's strange.
 well thanks a lot.

I just wanted to know if this happened to anyone else. . .my BFF CD skips!
Jackson Cannery doesn't even play anymore--the rest of the songs skip
sometimes. I blamed it on overplaying of the CD, but my friend told me that
doesn't happen to CDs. Well, maybe it happened because Caroline is a small
company and doesn't make as good quality CDs or something? I went out and
bought a replacement last night. . .well, did anyone else experience this?

Wow, After reading that whole reply, I felt obliged to put in my 2
cents. I have lots of different bootlegs from different bands ( i don't feel
guilty about this, because before i would buy a bootleg i would also buy
every possible thing the artist might have put out...I'm kind of a freak like
that.) Anyway, I followed my favorite band (Mr. Bungle) on tour and for the
first time decided to tape the concerts for myself..I actually asked the band
what they thought about it, and they were cool with it. So..What I did was go
to Radio Shack and bought $20 tape recorder..It was kind of like a
microcassette recorder, but it recorded on regular sized cassettes. I just
sat (actually a friend sat) by the sound board and recorded. The quality of
the tapes were incredible.just as good, if not better than most of my other
boots, cassette or CD. so my advice is that if you just want to have some
live tapes for you or your friends a small tape recorder would do just
 fine........laters.........kevin

Barrie Ontario at the second stage, and they were absolutely amazing!
They definitely have a magic for capturing the audience's ears.
