OK Folks...
If you've read this before, I apologize for making you read it
again, but time is running short. So far, I've gotton a lot of great
suggestions for bands for our beloved BF5 to tour with, TMBG, BNL, Cake,
DMB, Morphine, and many others among them, but I need more. I want to
have as large a list as possible for us to choose from next week.
Here's where you come in... send me an email listing up to two
bands you would like to see Ben and the gang tour with. DO NOT post them
on the MA. If you do, I won't count them. There's no use in wasting
valuable Magical Armchair space. If you send me suggestions for bands
that have already been suggested, I will inform you of that. ALL
SUGGESTIONS MUST BE IN BY SUNDAY!! Voting begins early next week.

Just ordered my tickets for the Milwaukee show on 6/3 over the
phone today...$15.50 each! I'm willing to meet up w/fellow fans
before the show. Maybe BBQ, boose up and converse - whoever wants...
Also, I hope Sloan or Self open, that would be cool!

hey everyone, guess what, ive got some good news and bad, im goin to a ben
folds five concert this comin this thursday, that of course is the good news
the bad news is that you arent!!! hahaha!!!!! well thats good news for me!
no im just screwin with ya! anyway, for those of ya that live remotely near
NY in the albany area, i will see yas at the show, ill be the one in the
clown outfit with 70's lookin appearal tied around my genitalia not quite
sure what accessory yet but somethin bright and smelly im sure all will
enjoy, ill be distractin as many peeps as i can from the music so they can
see my first time only original freak show in the back near the pool tables
at winners includin jobe the talkin walkin farm animal with no ears! not to
mention my 7 year old pizza crust collection that at the moment is attackin
me and pullin and proddin at the stuff attached to my genitals...!!!! ouchy!
but anyway i know theres some kids on this so ill try not to be to vulgar
with this next sentence. i have two cats. thats all i wanted to say. if
anyone on this list believes a word of what it says orif this offends anyone
im at 625 7th ave in troy NY and you can see me on the lawn everyday, im a
statue. anyway im sorry im just in weird mood cause i didnt take my prozac
and ritilin mix today. soooo youll have to excuse the mess i left on the
floor. well ill talk to you all later on a more normal day and hopefully ill
be drugged up enough to be able to speak after all im typin this with my left
pinky toe. so if theres any mistakes blame your dog!!! by the way my cat,
you know, fufi the one nut wonder, his breath smells like cat food can anyone
help me out with his halotosis??? he also has larangitis, cirrohsis,
ostioperrosis, and an acute case of vampirism (ouchies again he just bit my
neck)!!! well anyway i hope i made you people laugh, if i didnt just punch
me in the genitals and watch me fall to the floor and maybe just maybe thatll
make you laugh! sometimes you peeps are a little too serious on this list
and well i dont think thats how the band would really really want, you dont
believe me read the inside of BFF's new cd, remeber life is short as hell the
dinosours are dead!!!! ill talk to you all lata, by the way i got the new
BFF cd today!

I fergit who is opening for the boys on 5/27 in Boston- guess I'll find out
when I get there. But I do seem to recall that September '67 and Bettie
Serveert (!!) are opening for them the next night at Lupo's. YES!!
Also- I just saw Toad last night and the opening band was called "Marcy
Playground" a trio hailing fom NY. They were pretty good- be sure to check
them out.
See you guys on the 27th &28th!!
