For the people I promised to send a copy of grid magazine with the interview
of BF5, I will send it on Friday. Sorry I'm so late... but I've been on
vacation and other hectic stuff. But fear not... I'm getting to it.

P.S. $40 to see BF5 for a half hour? Is it worth it? (And Primus for an
hour and some other bands for who really cares how long)

Is anyone else going to the HORDE show at Deer Creek? That's the
Indianapolis show (well, actually it's Noblesville, but I digress). My
girlfriend and I will be there, but I was kind of hoping I could meet
someone from the list there. Let me know!

you know how people are always trying to think of ways to identify other
armchairites at the shows? well, what if we started a movement of
nametags readeing:

Hello, my name is
FARAH FAWCETT

admittedly, it's somewhat laughable (maybe downright hysterical) to think
of 20 or so people at a show claiming to be an over-the-hill playboy
covergirl who paints with her ass, but it would make us stand out.

just a thought

I just read a post where someone reminded me of a picture of BF5
containing 5 people. Does anyone remember WAAAY back in maybe the summer
of 1995 (?), there was a photo of BF5 in an 'up & coming new bands'
section of Rolling Stone? I remember it also featured Ani DiFranco in a
sailor suit. Anyway, in the BF5 picture, there appeared to be 5 people,
two of whom had their faces wrapped up in what looked like tinfoil; I
think that the two people with their faces concealed were actually Robert
& Darren and the photo had been doctored up to paste the extra figures in
the photo. ANYWAY, does anyone have this photo? Does anyone even
remember it? I've checked out most of the BF5 related web sites, but have
not seen it.

This is an idea I got off of the radiohead list. I figured that since
the list is kind of dead, I'd at least try to liven things up a bit. I
hope this doesn't turn into another "top 10" thing.

The rules: This is how it works. Ben and the boys have released two
CDs, each with 12 tracks. What you do is you list your favorite tracks
IN THEIR POSITION ON THE CD. For example, the first position on your
list would have to be occupied by either Jackson Cannery or One Angry
Dwarf, since those are the first tracks on both CDs; the second spot
would be occupied by either Philosophy or Fair, since those are the
second tracks on each CD; etc, etc. Everyone understand? Good.

Here's my list:

1. Jackson Cannery
2. Fair
3. Brick
4. Where's Summer B.?
5. Selfless, Cold, and Composed
6. Underground
7. Sports & Wine
8. Uncle Walter
9. Best Imitation of Myself
10. Battle of Who Could Care Less
11. The last Polka
12. boxing

The results:
Self titled CD: 8
WEAEA: 4

Some of these were very close. Have fun.

Hey everybody, I really want to know FOR SURE if BF5 will be playing the
Jacksonville and/or West Palm HORDE show. Lots of sources on the Web say
they will, but just as many say they will not. And this is really starting
to frustrate me. If anyone knows FOR SURE, please write me and tell me. And
also, most sources say the dates are the 23rd and 24th of August, but lots
others say they're the 30th and 31st. Somebody clarify that too please!
