New to the list: sorry if it's been asked before.
Does anyone know how long BFF is going to get on the HORDE Tour? I'm still
dealing with the fact that their coming around again (I missed both of the
shows in my area). Later

Subject: Yeah, I like 'em too

I'm a longtime fan but a first-time post-er. I'll mention that I'm from
Grand Haven, Michigan just in case there are others in the vicinity.
I would like to re-emphasize the importance of Jellyfish in BF5 fans cd
collections. Especially their Spilt Milk lp. Very produced and
orchestrated but under it all the stuff is the same-Queen and Beach Boys
rip-offs in the most flattering sense of the term. If you get the chance
pick up some Trash Can Sinatras. Not like BF5 but brilliant nonetheless.
Boo Radleys too.
Next...has anyone determined if if the HBO reverb show with the eels and
BF5 is different from the one with Duncan Shiek and BF5 as the
headliners. I'm also interested in finding out if people doing all the
tape trading have good soundboard kind of quality tapes or they're
hand-held stuff like what I've got. Just curious.
Last thing, let's not start a hierarchy based on how long we've liked
this or any band. People referrring to new fans as "newbies" in a
primarily negative sense makes no sense. Fact: no longer how long you've
been a fan of BF5, all you've ever been is a fan. Your claim to fame is
simply that you really like a band. This is great but just because
someone likes a band before another person means nothing. I hope everyone
jumps on the "band" wagon and then goes back and listens to their first
album and starts scrounging around for rare stuff and live videos and
bootlegs-like I do now...if they don't, well, some really good musicians
make a little extra cash. Thatta boy!

Hi,

I read this in Armchair #393:

> ..every morning, you wake up and head right down stairs to check
>the mail and get really angry when the presence of the "cool in school"
>shirt you ordered fails to grace the mailbox

and I was wondering if this is "normal". I ordered said T-shirt about four
months ago now, and it has never appeared. Not that I check the mailbox
everyday or anything.

Anyone else had this happen?

As for the idea about the "you know your obsessed when . . ." list: I like
it. But hey, my friends have told me I'm obsessed, so I'm bound to like it.
I've got nothing to add to it right now though.

All for now,
Dylan!

Subject: What happened with Sessions @ 54th

The producers of Sessions at West 54th decided to "bump" Ben Folds Five
to a later show, but the decision was made after the advertising went out
for the first show. Ben Folds Five will appear at some time later this
summer on a show with David Byrne, who has not yet filmed his segment, so
a date can't be set yet. A good guess would be late in August. Keep an
eye on the show's web page, http://www.sessionsatw54.com/sessions.html
and as soon as something is known I'll post it here and on the web page.
