TO REMOVE YOURSELF FROM THIS MAILING LIST
Send an e-mail message to armchair-request@maillist.il.fontys.nl with
the word 'unsubscribe' (without the quotes) in the message body. Please DO
NOT POST UNSUBSCRIBE REQUESTS TO THE LIST ITSELF! If you are having
trouble, send mail to armchair-owner@maillist.il.fontys.nl and I will try
to help you.

GOING BACK TO SCHOOL?
If you are returning to school and will be subscribing under a campus
e-mail address, don't forget to unsubscribe your home e-mail address
before you leave. The unsub process works much more smoothly when you
send the unsub message from the account which you are unsubscribing.

PERSONAL ATTACKS
Let's keep the personal attacks and barbs out of the Armchair. If you
have something to say to someone, send it via private e-mail. All are
welcome to discuss Ben Folds Five here and no question is a dumb question
if you don't know the answer. Of course, it would be appreciated if you'd
do a little research of your own first. Most of the commonly-asked
questions are answered in various resources found on the web, and I
usually recommend http://oeonline.com/bff/ as a good starting point. There
are links to lots of people's BFF pages, including some good FAQs.

Jon Tycksen and others,
The first time I heard "Stephen's Last Night..." I was pretty sure
it was a phone that was ringing in the background. I heard a rumor
since then that someone's cellular phone went off in the room during the
recording of the song. The group doesn't care about quality of an album
(to a point anyway). They're a concert band! That's what's cool about
them!
About cussing on the second album, sure they have many young
listeners but I think they're just doing what they want and not what
anyone tells them to do. I mean, hey, they have a piano player
replacing a guitarist! They're just doing their own thing.

And a request for everyone else on this list: Please don't submit
anything unless it's somewhat meaningful (like don't ask where a tour
will be since you can find that on the internet and don't babble on
about what's in your cd changer because I could care less).
Thank You.
Go Buckeyes!!!

hey.............

anyone willing to give an assist to a fellow fan?
i am a sophomore in college into radio communications and computers. why is
this important to you? it's not, but it gives background.
i am doing preliminary research into radio markets. in particular, i am
curious about markets in the raleigh/durham nc area, the boulder co region
and the seattle washington area, as well as anyplace in northern california.
i am aiming towards the alternative market stations (due to my own personal
prefs), and hoping to avoid the mainstream "alternative" stations. more or
less.
i'm trying to plan out the next coupla years of my life and any assistance
would be much appreciated.

thanks guys.

I really have to disagree. If what you're saying is that is how they di it
live, you might be
right. But, there are a lot of different things they do from the album
then being live. It goes this way:

Darren: I was never cool in school. I'm sure you don't remember me
Robert: And now it's been ten years. I'm still wondering who to be
Ben: And I'd love to mix in circles, cliques and social coterie, that's me

>in underground it is:
>darren "i was never cool in school"
>robert "i'm sure you don't remember me"
>ben " and now....."
