Send an e-mail message to armchair-request@maillist.il.fontys.nl with
the word 'unsubscribe' (without the quotes) in the message body. Please DO
NOT POST UNSUBSCRIBE REQUESTS TO THE LIST ITSELF! If you are having
trouble, send mail to armchair-owner@maillist.il.fontys.nl and I will try
to help you.

GOING BACK TO SCHOOL?
If you are returning to school and will be subscribing under a campus
e-mail address, don't forget to unsubscribe your home e-mail address
before you leave. The unsub process works much more smoothly when you
send the unsub message from the account which you are unsubscribing.

PERSONAL ATTACKS
Let's keep the personal attacks and barbs out of the Armchair. If you
have something to say to someone, send it via private e-mail. All are
welcome to discuss Ben Folds Five here and no question is a dumb question
if you don't know the answer. Of course, it would be appreciated if you'd
do a little research of your own first. Most of the commonly-asked
questions are answered in various resources found on the web, and I
usually recommend http://oeonline.com/bff/ as a good starting point. There
are links to lots of people's BFF pages, including some good FAQs.

This message is for the guy who was looking for someone who took a
picture of him and his girlfriend at theBFF show at the Zephyr club in
SLC last April. Turns out it was a friend of mine who took the picture,
so if you want, I could hook you up, as he just returned from North
Carolina. email me privately, as I am a bit behind on my Armchair
reading.
 thanks-- tucker

Haven't written in in a long time-haven't read in a long time
either, but I see people are sharing "what's in the CD changer" info. I
find it pretty interesting to know what else BF5 fans listen to. Here's
what's in mine:
	1:BF5-Whatever...
	2:Pearl Jam-Off he goes
	3:Korn-Life's Peachy
	4:Tool-AEnima
	5:Primus-The Brown Album
	6:Dave Matthews Band-Crash
By the way-What's the word on CD Singles? I've got both Kates, Both
BOWCCL, and One Angry Dwarf. Is there anything I'm missing? Please let
me know. Later-Jared

Subject: Brick vs. Song for the Dumped

In the Providence area Song for the Dumped was already played - a long
time ago. One of the local stations (95.5 WBRU) must have received an
advance copy of it- this was right after the success of Underground.
I don't think it would be good of them to release it as a single anyway,
considering the last 3 songs (Battle, Kate, and One Angry Dwarf) were
really peppy songs. It would not be a good representation of the whole
album not to release any of the ballads. In fact, after I got the new
album several months ago, I was pleasantly surprised by the number of
ballads on the album, in comparison to BFF. While Dumped is instantly
catchy, I don't think that serious AOR stations would play it. On the
other hand, Brick is very esoteric- unlike Battle- and radio stations
may not accept it. Should be interesting.

Does anyone know who is directing the video??

This method seems to work for other bands as well- Dave Matthews band
always releases a ballad after 2 faster songs.
