Hello All!

It's Doug, the evil Tour Manager. Here, for all who have asked, is the
'Official BFF Live Taping Policy' hereby known as the OBFFLTP pronounced
'Obflitip'

You CAN audio tape shows. You CAN NOT video tape the shows. Any
microphone 'trees' must be shorted than Sandi Shortcake. For those of
you who haven't met Sandi, that basically means don't bother. (Sorry
Sandi)

My daily instructions to venue security are as follows -

Audio recording IS allowed. Any mic stand must be shorter than the
person behind it.
Video recording IS NOT allowed.
We, and our crowd, don't generally like stage diving. You can use your
standard house policies in dealing with the crowd, as long as it DOES
NOT involve throwing anyone out. If you feel that someone needs to be
thrown out, bring them to me. After I talk to them, I'm sure that they
will be fine. Also, the band enjoys having the crowd standing up to the
stage in seated venues.

Thats's it. If you guys are nice, security should be nice. If they
aren't, come find me. I'll deal with them.

just a response to this:

> He is married to Kate, and loves her dearly

ummm, i dont think he is. in that interview i heard before the show in
raliegh on 88.1 (NCSU radio) the girl who was interviewing him,
apparently they were friends or old acquaintences, whatever, asked a
small slue of questions about him and kate- like if he was going to move
out to california with her or whatever, and he finally was like, "uh,
we're seperated" i didnt post about it cause i was new to this list and
didnt want to post common knowledge, but is it not common knowledge? is
the person that said this just mistaken? (no diss to her, i promise!!!)
somebody more informed straighten this out, please!!
i went to the concert and this girl whose name is kate was there
to hear one song (duh) she's pretty stupid, but that's a side story-
anyway, she kept yelling for it, and finally i told her i didnt think he
would play it cause of what i had heard earilier that day. this was not
a smooth move on the lawdawg's part, she was kinna pissed at me, and he
actually played kate right after i said that, so i spent the rest of the
concert sucking on my foot- no, actually i was jumping around and all
happy, but i felt pretty stupid. so he's still playing the song for all
you kate lovers- bff does grow on you and you appreciate it more and more
the more you listen to it, but still kate was one of the few songs that i
actually HAD to listen to it a few times before i liked it- but it rules
and all- im glad to see he'll still play it even though they are
seperated (providing that im right?!?!)

"i know a girl who goes to shows..." (i think)
also did anyone at the philly show notice they p[layed that album
(transmissions from the sattelite heart) as you were waiting for ben folds
five to come out, and they played "one foot in the grave" by beck while you
were leaving? two cool albums. do they do that at every show?
