Subject: another restaurant story..

For the guy who said he heard Ben at 2 different restaurants... I was at
Applebee's last night, listening to my date tell a strange but humorous story
about a broken candy machine..(really, it was funny) when I heard the first
chords of Brick play over my head. I made him shut up while I quietly sang
along, trying not to disturb the other people trying to eat. And when it was
over, I gushed for a while about how Ben and the boys are my fave band, and
how he should listen to them. I really hope I converted him... he's a really
sweet guy anyway, to put up w/ my Ben obsession in a public place!! See y'all
later!!!

BFF's rising popularity is very similar to when Oasis choked the states
w/ Wonderwall
and I called this when I first heard Brick-heres a little point by point
analysis
BFF Oasis
1st album 1st album
"the single" Underground "the single" live
forever
underground is about rock star wannabies "Rock N Roll Star"
sells well, great reviews sells well, great reviews
really big in Japan really big in
England
release an amazing amount of album level b-sides (ditto)
have a groovy new band indie following (ditto)
kick ass live band ok live
ALWAYS ON
TOUR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Geoff Harvey trash hotels
2nd album released, just as good (ditto)
sells good, doesn't catch on w/ masses (ditto)
3rd song, "Brick" a touching ballad released 3rd
song"wonderwall",(ditto)
what the hell are these songs really about??????????
gaining popularity, heard on top 40 kiss 108 (ditto)
sold out Boston show @ Avalon	Sold out Strand show(walked off
stage when someone threw a shoe at Noel) Wankers!
David Letterman in future played David Letterman
Brick all over MTV 2nd album platinum
but.........
they do not blatantly rip off an American institution such as, for
example Elvis
theyre American get lotsa bad wankers(!) press
and not assholes!! Liam is sex
symbol :):):):):):):):):):) tour
big venues Do you guys see this strange
similarity?	3rd album released sells ok
~Elisabeth American popularity down(I believe its
the bad press and stupidity of the Gallaghers)

armchairites,
i too heard the terrible rumor that Ben and Kate are no longer together!
i can't believe that it's true, but i guess anything is possible.
Does anyone know when they're going to announce the dates for the
February tour? i must know if they'll be in DC becuase i'll be out there
visiting friends at Catholic and Howard at some point during the month.
knowing if the five will be there will make my decision on a date soooo
much easier.
thanks
anna

Yes, rashida, you are correct. Smoke was not played and neither was
Boxing; saddening as it is to find this out, it is my favorite song. :/

In exchange though, they did a superb job with Alice Childress. To she
this man cry in joy was a rewarding experience in itself. True class
from Ben, thanks man! Being that you were so close to me, did you get
that feeling that the floor was going to cave in with all the people
jumping up and down? Man, it was really beauing down. :)
