Subject: okay, i've had it
no, this isn't a letter complaining about raymond or the guy who sent us
the thanksgiving message 50 times, this is something much much bigger. i
was just upstairs flipping channels and i decided to watch mtv for a
while. well, to my surprise, the guy, what's his name? i don't know and
it's not important to the story. well, the guy says, ben folds five is a
good band who recently opened up for the counting crows and here's their
latest video. well, i was shocked...i love the video for brick. however,
they cut it off halfway through! and it was super obvious! i'm so upset
right now that i could just scream. if anyone has mtv's e-mail address,
post it so we can all send angry messages to them. or maybe not...why am i
so upset? it's not like i didn't know that mtv sucked really bad. maybe
it's all just hitting me now that mainstream american radio has three
songs on shuffle that they play all the frickin' time! sorry about such an
angry post. i'm usually so crazy. maybe anger clears the voices out of my
head.

Subject: El Rey online, Belle & Sebastian
I watched the El Rey show online Sunday night, and all I have to say is
FINALLY! (I've been waiting to see Robert's Disco Diva routine for a long
time.) I'm now a huge supporter of online concerts for all us poor schmuck
fans who can't get to the concerts. It was a little frustrating, however,
to not be able to see the guys' faces at all. The picture quality was a
pretty pathetic. Truthfully, though, I was just grateful to be able to hear
the guys play live. The crappy transmission quality wasn't a major issue.
About that interview with Ben: He *was* kidding about that instrumental
album, "fear of pop", right? Right!? The interviewer seemed to take him
seriously, but(like I said) I couldn't see anyone's faces because my
Realplayer sucks. Not that I would shun any BFF material that came my way,
but Ben sounded like he was totally kidding.
BELLE AND SEBASTIAN QUESTIONS: (hey, it's indirectly BFF related, Ben
recommends them!)
1) is the name a reference to that old Nickelodeon TV show with the little
boy and the two dogs (one was tiny, one was giant)?
2) what do they sound like?
Hope everybody had a positive BFF experience Sunday/Monday (for you Aussies)
like I did!
