Subject: When is Bff gonna come to Pittsburgh???
I just saw the February tour dates that were announced so far, and I was very
dissapointed to see that Pittsburgh was not on the list. I don't understand
why Bff might pass up Pittsburgh yet again on their next tour. This past tour,
the closest Bff got to Pittsburgh was at Westminister college, but originally,
that show was announced for Westminister students only. This sucks for me,
because Bff has played in Pittsburgh 3 times so far and I have yet to see
them. The first time, I wasnt as big of a fan as I am now, the second time was
an over 21 show, and this past summer, I happened to be on vacation when they
came. I really hope that one of the "yet to be announced" dates will be in
Pittsburgh. I'm sure that their fan base is starting to receive a large number
here, our local radio station, The X, plays Brick on a regular basis, and also
played Battle throughout the summer. I know no matter what though, I HAVE TO
SEE THEM LIVE! Everyone of you that has seen them is sooooooo lucky, and I
need to experience them in concert before they're extremely popular and
trendy.

This is my first post to the Armchair, and I must say, I've been
enjoying just reading the posts.
Some of you guys might know me from CC-L, but for the rest of you, My
name's Shai and I'm 14 from Israel. Nice to meet you.
About my questions:
1. BFF font? Someone posted something about this. If anyone has any
information on where I can get it, it'd be great if you could mail me
the site info or even the file itself over ICQ. My number is 892809,
feel free to add me to your list.
2. #bff? I checked this channel out on efnet, and there's nothing/nobody
there. Is there a weekly meeting time or something? Info on this would
be greatly appreciated too.

I'm kinda depressed right now. Last month Ben had said in an article that
Cleveland would be on the list of Febuary tour dates. Well, the new tour
dates have been released, and Cleveland isn't on their. Dammit! That sucks.

detroit is the closest location they're hitting. now i know further dates are
to be announced, but really......
now i find myself thinking they don't want their cleveland fans to get

and why did snl choose LAST night to pre-opt their show setup for that spliced
holiday rerun crap?

MTV Live and I would like a copy....If any one has it....im willing to trade

Haven't read any digests in a couple weeks because my computer
self-destructed, and in reviewing what I missed, can't really say I'm
too upset about it.
Anyway, everyone's been sharing how they 1st heard of BFF.
I had never heard of them until they opened for Neil Young at the Camden
E-Center in August 1996. It was pouring rain for some time leading up
to the show, and I wished I had stayed in my car a little longer. And
then I found out I had to sit through a band I had never heard of. But
I was so pleasantly surprised, and I thought Song For the Dumped was the
greated. THey played probably no more than 1/2 hour. Maybe I would
not have been so impressed if the Gin Blossoms didn't suck so much.
So thanks to Neil and the Gin Blossoms for allowing BFF to play at that
show.
Just curious, was anyone else on the MA at this show?
