be increasing. This makes it important to stay on topic and keep your
posts concise. Avoid the tendency to ramble, as this increases the
amount of text readers have to wade through. If you want to ramble on,
take it to IRC or the newsgroup.
Also remember to be very selective in your quoting of others'
messages. Don't quote an entire post just to add one or two lines. And
be especially careful not to quote the whole digest!!

is a diehard fan of BFF and who lives for them. It would especially be for
people who haven't gotten a chance to see them"
i really like that idea! That would be sooo awesome! I also live for them,
and i have never been to a concert! (i know..it S-U-C-K-S!!) I have been close
a bundle of times, but something has always gone wrong last minute. Grrr. But,
know they wont be back to hio for a long time (or so i hear) and Leslie and i
want to roadtrip..we will try, but it is hard w/o a license! We should take a
bus or convince a friend to drive us. We are working on it. Well, ill shut up
now. BTW, all u aolers should check out my profile. I fit quotes into every
place there was room. Its pretty cool, i like it alot. Feel free to email me.

One more tidbit about "Fanny Packs" to take this topic to the
appropriate saturation point:
The shout-out to "my man Ernie at the Point" refers to a great club in
Little Five Points in Atlanta (The Point, duh). Hole in the wall place,
but FANTASTIC sound... 'cuz the guy who runs the board (Ernie, duh
again) used to work in a buncha Nashville studios and is FANATICAL about
sound. And yes, he does occasionally get a little anal about his stuff.
("I'm sorry... I can't give you any more monitor... the transistors and
the resistors... it just won't go any higher...")
Also,
FIVE ACTS FEATURING ONLY PIANO, BASS, DRUMS:
- --Tom Waits, circa 1973 (he added a sax later)
- --Elton John, circa 1970 (whoever said to get the "11-17-70" live CD
should be commended... believe it or not, Elton really WAS a rocker at
one point)
- --Thelonious Monk (plus too many other jazz greats to mention)
- --Suddenly Tammy! and Fl. Oz. (2 newer, decent bands mining the same
vein as BF5)
- --Ben Folds Five (of course)
