i'm not sure if this annoys me only, but there have been soooo many
redundant messages on the good ol' armchair. for example, 92384729374
people are looking for people who've taped 120 minutes. instead of
requesting it, why don't you just look for those people who post
messages saying they have taped it and are willing to trade or whatever
and just contact them. it's a lot better for people who don't like
seeing basically the same thing posted over and over again. just my
$.02.

okay, and about the chain letter thing......does anybody have any chain
letter emails they can send me? my friend and i are having a chain
letter war...and i'm losing! i know....it has nothing to do with
bff...sorry!

Hello fellow fivers! I've finally got hooked up to the mailing list
after numerous attempts. I'm a fan from Philly and have shared some
similar feelings with fellow Philly fans who have posted. Yes, they did
seem extremely tired and I honestly hope that they take care of
themselves now that the tour is over (of course, they're on Leno
tonight, and who knows where next...). Still, they put on a wonderful
performance dispite, and I loved every minute of their sweet music.
Yes, it was unfortunate that Darren had snare problems, and yes, there
were a ton of "brickheads", and yes, no Underground, but all in all I
had a phenominal time. I attended the "Sonic Session" before the show
and Ben mentioned that they were extremely tired, and possibly fighting
off some illnesses, so I was prepared before the show. I also was
fortunate enough to meet them backstage after the show. Such remarkable
and genuine men, so down to earth and beautiful!

I am specifically looking for Maria and Michael, two fellow fans I was
fortunate enough to get to know at the Sonic Session. If you're out
there, email me!

Peace, Love & Hope,
Anna

Did anyone else catch the fact that they were playing (actually BLASTING)
Built to Spill (There's Nothing Wrong With Love) betweem Robbie Fulks and BFF
at the NYC show? Just wondering. By the way Built to Spill is excellent and
loved by Ben and the boys.

Sorry for the people on the Chair to whom this isn't relevant:

I know some people here are college students who have posted about being on
their schools' committees to hire bands (specifically BFF) to play.

I'm looking for information about bands' price ranges and how the whole
process generally works. Any information you have about BFF or other bands
would be much appreciated.

BTW, I'm not looking to hire anyone; I'm doing a bit of investigation
into the process for a story.

Please just respond to me--sorry again, guys!

A bunch of us were able to go to the Tonight Show taping.
Nothing too special...but kind of neat actually to see what goes on.
Leno himself was really nice (though I don't find his sense of humor
quite funny).
Jenna Elfman really got into them she was cool...and really tall.
The guys seemed a bit rushed but gave a great performance nevertheless.
One lady was screaming for Ben and Darren. Quite immature...
I'm really sorry Daniel and I got separated from the rest of you
armchair people but his belt got caught in the metal detector and that
slowed us down and we didn't see you guys til after they seated us.

Anyone else going to the mini-concert before Keenan tomorrow? Daniel,
Courtney and I will be there.

Not to mention Breakfast With Ben Folds Five on Friday.

Busy following 3 men.
Janet.

So, today... I spent 8 hours looking for the video that I had taped that had
some Ben Folds Five stuff on it. To be specific, it had: SNL, Letterman, MTV
Live, and the Brick video when it debuted on 120 minutes. Needless to say, I
never found it, and got so frustrated I threw my stuffed animals at the wall,
and then I just collapsed on the floor and cried. I am a wuss, I am not in
denial of this.

Anyway... what I am saying, is this... if you have these on tape (SNL,
Letterman, MTV Live, the Brick Video)... I will trade you a poster, a bootleg,
some articles... yeah. I am totally distraught over losing this. I could
cry... oh wait, I already did that!

Well, let me know if anyone can help me, and yeah... it would mean the world
to me. Thanks.

Hello All,

Is anyone else on the Sony Records Mailing list? I got an e-mail titled
"Ben Folds Five TV", but I accidently deleted it before I could read it. If
anyone has this e-mail, and can forward me a copy of it, I would greatly
appreciate it.

Thanks,

Darrell
