you may or may not know than our boys recorded an episode of "just passin'
through" for whfs back when they were here to play the 9:30. i heard last
night that it will air on whfs (99.1 fm) this sunday at 7:30 pm. i am sure
we can expect the charm, wit, style, and brilliance we've grown accustomed
to...so tune in.

In regard to Ben Folds plagarizing Cat Stevens:
They both owe me huge sums of money seeing as I own the rights to both
the D-minor chord and the G-minor chord. In addition, anyone who has
ever used these chords or the following:
C# Major 7
B flat diminished fifth
and the notes B#, C flat, E# and F flat,
you are hereby ordered to send me a check to cover the copyright fee and
any royalties you may have earned from using said notes.

Hello, chair friends, long time no post. First, to Jason of the 4th period
ENglish class Trendy Dirty Girl incident: you GO! If this girl is the Fiona-
style-strappy-tank-top-wearing type, you go EVEN MORE!

But now for the real news: I picked up this crappy looking free magazine here
at Northeastern, it's called Collegiate Monthly 101 and is a Boston-area
college rag with mostly band and movie reviews and Student Advantage Card
ads. Well, it says "BEN FOLDS FIVE" on the front so I snatch it up, and
there's a 2 page interview, "Not Just Another 'Brick' In The Wall" [there's a
reason this publication is free], clearly done over the phone, JUST WITH
ROBERT SLEDGE!!! Did all you Sledge-Heads catch that?

*** A WHOLE INTERVIEW JUST WITH ROBERT SLEDGE!!! ***

And even better it is some of the funniest shit I've ever seen. It's way too
long to transcribe here, but email me for the whole shebang. THere is also a
very cute picture of tout le band, with Ben sort of lurking in the
background, Darren in front, with Rob standing behind him sort of holding
Darren's tummy: think huggy, not Heimlich. I will excerpt the best part for
all our listeners now:

Interviewer: Now, when I did catch you guys on that tour, you seemed
to have a really good time onstage...
Sledge: ...I'm sorry, but do you know --- do you play drums at all?
	Interviewer: Not at all.
Sledge: Do you know those shaker eggs? Have you ever seen those
things before?
	Int: I think, maybe.
Sledge: They're called "The Egg." They're shaped like an egg and
have little shaker pellets in them.
	Int: Oh yeah.
Sledge: My dog just...just...just bit one in half!
Int: That's got to be all over your floor.
Sledge: It is, I'm picking it up right now. What was your question,
I'm sorry.
Int: That's all right, you're not having a great day, are you?
Sledge: Well, actually I think it's pretty funny that she took enough
interest in this thing. I have to say I "egged" her on! [groans]
Int: I'll get back to the question then.

Oh and another thing, if you listen to the radio in the wee wee hours, like
me, sometimes those naughty college radio DJs play SFTD unbleeped, woo woo!

Hey all, this is my first post. Anyway, for those who missed the band talking
about Brick on TV, you can find it in the news section at www.mtv.com. Also,
the video for Uncle Walter can be viewed with a real player at
www.streamline.com. Finally, if there really is a spring tour, a stop in
CINCINNATI is a must.

actually, I'm looking for this too, so if you could post it to
the list, I'd be happy too..

also I'm looking for a pic of the Naked Baby Photos album cover,
if you've got a fair sized one on a web site or something, please
let me know..

Also, I'm looking for any Bass tab for any BF5, the best I can do
as a bassist is play the root notes to the chords, but any real
Bass tabulature would be SUPER!!!

Hey.. i'm in search of a particular show...

It was in October of 1997, and it was at the Carefree Theater in West Palm
Beach, Florida.

If anyone has it, please e-mail me.. we can set up a trade.

In fact, if anyone has any tapes and they want to trade, e-mail be.

Hi Everyone!

It's been a while since I've posted to the list...but now I have something
decent to say! Anyway...I recently transcribed some of the music to Brick,
and posted it on my page. You'll need to download Note Worthy Composer
(available at my site too) before you can read the music.

I hope to post more sheet-music...but for now, Brick is up. The address for
my page is http://www.geocities.com/SunsetStrip/Underground/2175/bffm.htm

Remember that entrys for the "People on the Armchair" page are always
welcome...just go to the site to see what I'm after!
