TO REMOVE YOURSELF FROM THIS MAILING LIST
   Send an e-mail message to:
          armchair-request@maillist.il.fontys.nl
with the word
          unsubscribe
in the message body. Please DO NOT POST UNSUBSCRIBE REQUESTS TO THE LIST
ITSELF! If you are having trouble, send mail to
          owner-armchair@maillist.il.fontys.nl
and I will try to help you. To change your address, first unsub yourself from
your old address, then subscribe using your new account.

SCHOOL'S OUT FOR {SUMMER | EVER}!!
If the above statement applies to you, be sure to unsubscribe from
the Armchair if you will not have access to your e-mail account over the
summer. Otherwise, your mailbox will fill up and the system administrator
at your school will be one angry dwarf...
Accordingly, very soon I will begin purging the mailing list of any
address that bounces for any reason (e.g., too many hops, mailbox full,
no route to host), not just 'user unknown'. If you find yourself
unsubscribed, this is probably the reason.

THANKS A THOUSAND
With the passage of 1,000 issues of the Armchair I'd like to thank
everyone for their contributions to the success of the list. We have a great
group of fans and the band is very appreciative of your support.

Hey everyone!
I also need to know if BFF is headlining the G105 festival thing in
Raleigh. If anyone has any info about this show, please e-mail me
privately.
Also, I was writing to a guy a while ago who had a tape of the February
show at Hammerstein Ballroom to trade. Where did you go? I lost your
address! If you are my mystery man (or if you have a copy of this show
to trade) please e-mail me as well.

sorry for the non-bff content, but:

FUCKING PHIL HARTMAN OF SNL DIED!!!! JESUS CHRIST! WHAT THE HELL IS
HAPPENING!?!?!?!?!?!?!

This has been a horrible day. First I have to stand in the humid, 90
degree weather for TWO hours to get a wristband for Hanson tickets for
my little sister (as if this isnt bad enough, right?!?)---then I find
out that Phil Hartman is DEAD! damn.

 sorry...

 garrett

I have a lot of different music tastes, so I thought a lot of the bands
were awesome at Edgefest (in Somerset, Wisconsin May 23 & 24). (I especially
liked Greenday, Mighty Mighty Bosstones, & Soul Assylum live). But, the whole
reason I went in the first place was to hear BF5 live for the first time!!
And I thought they were awesome too! I suppose I didn't get the whole effect
of it, cause I didn't go up to the stage, I stayed on the hill, where it was
safe... but, at least they had a huge tv screen to watch it on. From my seat
on the hill I could see that most of the people there didn't really care about
BF5 (they were just wandering around and stuff), but I guess that's what
happens when at a 2 day festival with so many different kinds of bands there.
Anyways, I was disappointed that BF5 didn't get to play very many songs
(8 to be exact) and that "Underground" wasn't one of them! (it's my fav).
Here are the songs they played, in order:

*an instrumental one
Battle of Who Could Care Less
Philosophy
Selfless Cold and Composed
Steven's Last Night in Town
Fair
One Angry Dwarf
Song for the Dumped

*will anyone that went to Edgefest e-mail me if you know what song they played
first? was it Dr. Peyser? (I have never heard it before) thanks! Oh, and
also, if you heard and understood the interview between BF5 and Zone 105
before they played, will you tell me what they said? I couldn't hear any of
it! thanks again!

Also, I was glad they didn't play Brick! Well, e-mail with any comments
or questions you have! thanks!
