This may be old news to most/some of you but I just learned of this
great site with current and archived videos you can download & play
using the VivoActive Player (you can also download Vivo free from the
site if you don't already have it). Drawback is the video is more like
a series of still shots. Still, you can get an idea of a lot of cool
videos including BF5. I got this info from Tip-World so I'm extracting
the relevant portion from their email.

Out,

Ray

"And now for today's cool web site...

VIDNET

http://www.vidnetusa.com

With both MTV and VH1 devoting smaller and smaller segments of time
to showing music videos, it's fair to say that if you miss your
favorite band's clip you may have to wait a while before it
reappears. But now, with the advent of video-on-demand sites such as
the newly launched Vidnet, you can see that video as often as you
want. Download the VivoActive streaming video plug-in, twist your
monitor to face the couch, and you're ready to sit back and watch
hundreds of videos, organized by genre. To the site's credit, Vidnet
has remained bleeding edge; it even has the uncut version of the
latest controversial (and banned) Prodigy video. Not that we watched
it, of course."

 howdy all!

this was my first BFF show, and it easily was the best show i've seen
ever anywhere!

drove down to New Orleans from Baton Rouge with my little brother and my
ex-girlfriend (long story-don't ask... as if ya'll care). it was at the
House of Blues, right smack in the French Quarter.
Superdrag was.... well, they were Superdrag.

the boys came out after what seemed like endless soundcheckin' (maybe i
was just antsy). they busted right into:
Dr Pyser
Battle of Who Could Care Less
Selfless
Philosophy
Last Polka
Alice Childress (Ben sang: "world is full of ugly shit that you.."
Kate (Ben: "just a stupid pop song")
after Kate, Ben gets up, walks over to the middle mike, and says
"okay, somebody put this mike to low to make me feel good"
  audience: "aaawwwww"
"...and they screwed it too tight so i would feel like a sissy"
  audience: "aaaawwwwww"
STEVENS LAST NIGHT! (i totally didn't expect this.. no klezmer band, Ben
just played the clarinet parts on the flugelhorn--
                     that blowey-keyboard-thingy from Smoke.
Fair
EVAPORATED
Brick
Fuckin Song for the Motherfuckin Dumped (which i noticed is in G for
                                          you musicians out there)
She Don't Use Jelly
Julianne (with appropriate-for-Cinco de Mayo salsa intro)
RAINDROPS (didn't expect this one either, they played it just like they
             did on the Bacharach tribute)
One Angry Dwarf

encore:
Boxing
Underground (which from now on, will include various audience members
-including myself- yelling "who the fuck are YOU!")
(Darren took his center stage opportunity to invite us all
to his hotel after the show)

everything sounded great. the boys' voices sounded excellent, and they
all seemed really jazzed about playin there.

2. Squirrel Nut Zippers @ Howlin Wolf, New Orleans 1997

hey,

hey look, Brick's made it sooo big here, it's even being compared to one of
the greats...
I saw this letter on this text page, saying how Brick has an "almost
identical" basic melody as... DOCTOR JONES by Aqua.

Anyone else think so? I soooo am not getting this. Although both have the
power to move you to tears... though maybe not in the same ways.

personally, i think it sounds like "walk away" by Cast. Doctor Jones, that is.
