Hey BF5 crazies!

This is Miller here (yes, that's my FIRST NAME) and I'm new to this
so if this looks screwed up, don't yell at me. Alright, well I just wanted to
let everyone know that my big sis used to hang out with Darren. She went to
elementary school, junior high, and high school with the "D-Man". I just
thought that was kinda interesting. I have a HUGE question though....can
anyone tell me ALL OF BFF's songs that are out now that DON'T appear on their
3 main albums? Like "She Don't Use Jelly" for instance...I know it's on
Lounge-a-Palooza and I have that one. But I want more! Like, are there any
that appear on other compilations (and yes, I have heard about the Godzilla
soundtrack)? Please help! Much love to all BFF followers! Later guys and
gals.

Hey All,
I have started a new powerpop list...My hope is that it will
have a steady stream of traffic consisting of recommendations
and current goings-on in the powerpop scene. This way, if you
wish to discuss non-BFF bands, there is a large forum for
it. I'm aware of a few other lists like this, but the one I am on
(poprocks) seems to have died, so this is my attempt to
resurect a desperately needed list!

If any of the following bands interest you, be sure to sign up!!

Jellyfish, The Grays, Odds, Jason Falkner, Ben Folds Five, Dada,
Semisonic, Amateur Lovers, The Replacements, Sloan, Brendan
Benson, Brad Jones, Cotton Mather, The Posies, Umajets,
Four O'Clock Balloon, Cave Dogs, Fastball, Super Deluxe, Superdrag,
Mother May I, The Refreshments, Lemonheads, Uncle Green, Aimee Mann,
3lb. Thrill, Matthew Sweet, World Party, Fountains of Wayne, XTC,
Michael Penn, Mommyheads, Gigolo Aunts, The Beatles, Big Star,
Treble Charger, Harvey Danger, Imperial Drag, The Tories,
Kara's Flowers, Bloody Chicletts, etc...... Always looking for more bands!!

brick? - ha ha) on the cover.

my favorite b-side is mitchell lane. very seductive. although, i'm
deprived and don't have any bootlegs, so i don't know of that many b-sides.

Why is everyone making such a big deal out of "brick-heads" vs. "long-time
fans." Some people don't have the resources to hear good bands when they
first pop up, and have to wait until the radio stations pick up on them.
Luckily, my sister somehow finds out about all these good bands, then tell me.
:) I've liked BF5 for a while now, Brick merely teetered me over the edge, I
guess you could say, and made me susbcribe to a digest for them. I seriously
doubt someone would take the time to get subscribed and everything if they
only liked one song. So stop freaking out, everyone! It seems like everytime
someone posts, they have a little disclaimer at the bottom saying "no hate
mail please." I don't think this should be the kind of place where we even
have to worry about that kinda stuff! That's all I'm going to say about that
one. :)

I went to the BFF show at Austin Music Hall on Thursday night and it was simply amazing. It was an awesome show by BFF. They played air and i really liked that song. They Didn't play everyone's favorite brick much to my suprise...this guy standing behind
me got really really mad when the show was over and they still hadnt played brick...he was chanting "brick" as loud as he could. I don't know if it was better to leave it out or to just go ahead and please the people that came to see brick. What do we all
think about that??? The opening band Superdrag was turned up way to loud and could of been better, but they were ok. During SFTD ben found one of the many black t-shirts tossed on the stage that he liked and put it on! Then before they came back on for t
he encore one of the roadies threw the remaining black t-shirts and ben's yellow shirt in to the audience. Darren did this cool move where he smacked the drum with his drumstick and let it fly up in the air....then he caught i!
t and kept playing. He tried to do it again later but the drumstick went elsewhere so he just got himself a new one. I thought it was a great show. How many armchair ppl were at the concert?? Email me if you want to talk about the show....and did anyone r
ecord it?? Let me know. Thats all for now.
