Hello-
My name is Chuck Folds and I play in two bands, one called Snuzz (opening
for Ben in Atlanta on sunday) and the other is Bus Stop. I get a quite a
bit of e-mail asking me about my bands, i guess because i'm ben's
brother and devoted bf5 fans are curious. Also the fact that ben plays on
a couple of our cds. So anyway, i finally have a web site for bus stop
so i dont have to reply to so much email. Not that i mind getting email
from other bf5 fans and people who are just curious but this will save
some time and give you better info.
Sorry, no mp3's or photos yet, but thats coming soon.

Actually...(oh all the RFers know what's coming now...) this show is
cxalled "MY Generation" and it's a music trivia game show on which I was
a contestant.

I'll save you the long "how I got on" spiel and just say that if you
ever see class of '84 vs. class of '95, I'm the blonde one named
Courtney playing for '95.

Meanwhile *I* still haven't seen my episode yet..even though it's been
on like EIGHT times. VH1 just likes to play with my head, I think.

Oh, and just to ruin the suspense for you, I lost. In the speed round.
Though I did walk away with some "lovely parting gifts."

Oh yeah, and a big hi-five to Lauren, the wonderful and sassy super
bitch! I knew she of all people would be down with Robert Johnson, yo.
So mad props to her.

Ok so i got to the parking lot at Giants Stadium at 4 o'clock Sunday
afternoon, tailgated in D4 and went in at 6. Man was BFF amazing. I was
so upset when they finished, i kept hoping they'd come back out and play
some more. I was disappointed that they didnt play KATE, but i guess
they redeemed themselves with "Emaline", my other personal favorite. I
was up in section 4, the seats were great and I was the only one in my
row standing up.... that upset me. But the true fans sang and cheered
and it was TONS of fun. Anyhow i absolutely cannot wait til they do a
solo show. Maybe then they'll play KATE. See you all soon.
 love,
lauren :)

I asked this before, but no one answered. I would really really really really

Can we all make a pact to speak in English? It completely defeats the
purpose of abbreviation when it takes the reader more time to understand

~~~~~OK---I know this is just taking up space, and I'm not trying to pick on
people, but I think posts like those ^ are what is making the MA have so much
mail.  If you agree with someone, fine.  Agree with them, and if you like
their concept soooo much, write them  a letter.  All of the other people might
not agree and they dont want to hear about it. (Not saying I feel this way, I
actually agree with the statement)  Also, in the "Rules" it states don't send
mail basically saying I agree or me too.  I don't mean to be the "hall
monitor" , but this had just been bothering me lately how much mail I've been
getting from the MA, and how much of it has been pointless information that
has no relevance to me or many other members of the MA.  This is a waste of my
time, and everyone elses.  I've noticed people writing please email me
privately, yet people still write to the whole armchair.  Lets just get back
to "bentent", and stop the junk.
    Now for the bentent:  what are MP3s?  Everyone talks about BFF MP3s, but I
have no idea what they are.  thanks.
Chairers:
   I have to tell this story!!!!!!  My buddy Jonathan took this chik (I don't
say that word very often but if you knew what she is you'd use the most
derrogatory words you could, too) to dinner along with her brother and his
roommate.  Jon is so in love with this chik (there I go again) that he lives
in Dallas to be near her rather than in San Antonio with his family and
friends.  They don't go out, but she's very aware of how he feels for her.
   Well, after he bought her this large, pretty expensive meal he got a phone
call from her saying that she knows how he feels but she just can't help
herself, she's fallen for his roommate!!!!!
   It made me think of "I wish I hadn't bought you dinner right before you
dumped me".  I made him buy WEAEA and play it in the car (we knocked down an
endcap in the store while we were there, too.  It was funny at the time but
thinking back I'm kind of embarassed).  Not only did SFTD spark the "hey, that
song was written just for me" section of his brain, he loved the rest of the
tape, too!
   Alright!  So not everyone can have a CD player in their car.  He drives a
friggin' Kia.
   Just thought I'd let everyone know that our Boys cheered a very depressed
person up.  I don't think the chocolate covered espresso beans hurt all that
much, either.  And I think I've turned him on to the band!  Aside from
sounding like a drug dealer just now, I'm really proud of myself!
   And we played Air Piano all the way home.
   Also, so as not to offend someone elses (COUGH) copyrights, I will use my
former name.
I'm really surprised that nobody came forward with the details on this show.
The Rockford Files aired from 1974-1980, followed by five TV movies in the
90s.  James Garner starred as Jim Rockford, a private investigator, and won
an Emmy as "Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series" in 1977.
The Rockford Files is also one of my roommate's favorite shows, which is,
strangely enough, what initially attracted me to BFF -- the reference in
"The Battle of Who Could Care Less" reminded me of her.  Now BFF is one of
her favorite bands, too, and we had the good fortune of seeing them headline
out here in the Bay area a month ago.
"Best Imitation", "The Last Polka", "Kate", "Underground", "Evaporated",
"Jackson Cannery", and a few more.  I also made interpretations of the lyrics
and included quotations from web sites that many of you pointed me to.  So,
Ummm.....the person in question worked with Ben's mom, Scotty, and was
interested in Ben as a musician even before BFF was formed. Technically not a
BFF fan, but still a fan of that effervescent and everchanging master of the
Ahhh, 23 extra points for spawning new BFF fans, but a swift kick in some body
part of your choice for robbing the boys of their well deserved fortune. They
do have a fortune, don't they? Hey, just order the entire crew pizza and bring
Um, take $0.00 off your very own swift kick in the arse. Limit one coupon per
arse-kickin'. One arse-kickin' per customer. Offer good only in months that
end in the letter "Y". Redeemable only on participating "Magical Armchair"s
nontransferable. Cash value 2/100ths of a cent. Offer good only to pompous-my-
