PERIODIC PURGE ADVISORY!
Just want to let you know, in advance, that I'll be removing from the

"undeliverable" for whatever reason - mailbox full, expired in queue,
user unknown, etc. This is to cut down on the volume of net traffic that
happens as a result, not to mention the 20-30 bounce messages sent to my
inbox for each issue of the Armchair that goes out.

<< ..But I do know that it will replay
again in September....You know, just in case there's someone else who was
stupid enough to miss it :) >>
I am sure I'm a little late on this....but I DID TOO! I was watching TV,
horribly enough...I knew there was something on...couldn't figure out
what...til the next morning anyway.

Well another BFF Tom & Mary - Beatles similarity, does anyone else think
the songs piano part and bassline resemble Lady Madonna? That was the
first thing I noticed when I listened to NBP the first time. Kate struck
me as beatlesish when I first heard it too... though it's not surprising
seeing as the Beatles were the best pop band ever... making it hard to
keep from imitating them. Damnit I ramble a lot...

I am leaving for college in South Bend, Indiana in the next few days. I was
wondering if anyone would be so kind as to enlighten to any local stores which
sell BFF paraphenalia. Thanks so much in advance.

I have to preach about the godliness of MiniDisc's for bootlegs and other
purposes. First off they are small. Prices on recorders are still way high,
but its great technology. Quality doesn't really matter too much for
bootlegs but its better than tape by far. Then of course, for those of you
that can't remember which track is what, you can store that info on the MD
and be able to see the title of the track you're listenin to. If you want
to switch the track order you can do that too. And if you are willing to
dish out the cash (which no one i know has yet done) sony makes one with 40
sec skip prot. Joggin with ben & the guys is no longer a problem. MiniDiscs
are so choice. I know this isn't kosher bentent but hey cut me some slack.

In the song mentioned above, since I dont' want to type that again, it
sounds like it's darren doing the main vocals at the beginning. Who does
the low voices? And if any of you care to actually go to the trouble, who
does the other vocals?

				Thanks A Lot,

anyone who knows where to get posters who could get one for me if i send
you the money? (this is *not* illegal, it^Òs just like me going down the
store to buy something for a friend, so don^Òt flame me for it) I^Òm
totally desperate. I can^Òt find them anywhere! I^Òm talking about the
really huge ones people keep talking about but *anything* will do! Promo
posters, whatever. If you want a trade for a poster, I can probably
trade you something.

any aussies have the underground, kate, OAD, uncle walter clips (was
there a BOWCCL clip, I can^Òt remember)?? Or the potty mouth video? I^Òll
trade for those too (or I^Òll just send a blank tape and pay all the
postage, if you^Òre really nice and let me do that if you^Òre not
interested in my stuff for trade), if anyone^Òs interested. Or if you
have them, e-mail me anyway just so I know.
If you do have the potty mouth video, how^Òd you get it? It^Òs their promo
video, right?
I was thinking, I wonder what would happen if i wrote to Sony and asked
them for information on BF5? Maybe they^Òd just give me the address like
in the CD covers. What happens if you write there? I haven^Òt got around
to it yet.
Sorry about the two posts.

Hey Armchairers

Whoo-hooo, I'm a virgin poster (I have been reading from the distance
for quite a while though) and the other day, something happened that
finally inspired me to post a message to the list. Here goes:

The other day, I got home from uni after a 9am start, completely
exhausted and flicked on the television (Channel V, Foxtel) and the
request show was just starting, I wasn't really paying attention until I
noticed that the background music was BFF, in particular Underground. I
was naturally quite intrigued, and kept watching. To make a long story
short (kind of!) between clips, they played just about every song from
WAEA as background music and also the clip for Brick. I was impressed to
say the very least!

Anyway... I just thought you'd all be interested.

Ok, so last nite I had on 120 minutes, hoping that I might get to see Song for
the Dumped, which I've never seen to this day.... So, I'm looking down at my
Express receipt, trying to decide if I want to keep this new purse or return
it for the cash, when I hear......... "Hi, I'm Ben.. I'm Robert... And I'm
Darren, and we're Ben FOlds Five and you're watching 120 Minutes!!!!" or
something to that effect. I was soo excited to say the least, cuz I thought,
HEY!! Maybe they're on and will play SFTD.... But did they???? HELL NO!!! I
don't think I'll get to see that video..... But that was my fix for the nite.
