PERIODIC PURGE ADVISORY!
Just want to let you know, in advance, that I'll be removing from the
list in the next couple weeks any addresses that come back as
"undeliverable" for whatever reason - mailbox full, expired in queue,
user unknown, etc. This is to cut down on the volume of net traffic that
happens as a result, not to mention the 20-30 bounce messages sent to my
inbox for each issue of the Armchair that goes out.

The magazine TIME just did a story on the bad influences Gangsta Rap has on
kids...yeah, I know Ben Folds Five isn't really a rap group..but read it!
Here's a letter somebody sent to TIME replying about the article:
"Not all rap music is about violence. There are songs from artists like L.L.
Cool J or Method Man that talk about loving a girlfriend. You should stop
criticizing rap and look at the positives of it. There are other genres of
music that are gangsta. On MTV I saw an alternative group sing 'Give me my
money back, you bitch.' You tell me, what kind of lyric is that?"
Heh...but any publicity is good publicity, right?

Hmmm.... This is in regard to the Naked Baby Photo's CD.... to me it seems
the first five songs or so are some of bf5's best... Especially Eddie
Walker.... But after that they don't seem nearly as good.... If I didn't
know I wouldn't even think it was the same band... Does anyone else feel the
same way?
