I was at that Phoenix show on 2-9-98 and if you or anyone knows of a
bootleg of this show, I would be the *HAPPIEST* person in the world to get
a hold of a copy of it. *please* let me know. I have stuff to trade, or
whatever. I am sure something can be worked out.

I saw a couple on M2 (MTV2). But otherwise I haven't seen many. I wish they
had more on MTV, but I think Ive only seen, like one on MTV1. VH1 I haven't
seen any BFF. Anyone else?

hey, it's me, Libbie, I was just wondering if anyone could possibly make me
some tapes. . . Ok, ok, I'm a little desperate for them because I want to
start trading but I've got nothing to trade. I'd be willing to send out any
number of tapes and a limited amount of money to anyone who would be so kind
as to dub some things for me that I could trade. On no other mailing list
would I post such a plea, but you people are always very willing to help one
in need so I just thought I'd post this. Thanks a lot in advance.

my 'philosophy' on nbp is that for many, it may be "too much too soon". i
know it may upset a lot of you, but the first album i bought was WEAEA,
followed by NBP. It really took me a while to appreciate such marvelous works
as Fannie Packs, but now it just seems so awesome. now i really love every
song. my reccomendation is to just give it a little time, and you will soon
grow to appreciate even the most obscere trax.

There is a video for "Air". I saw it on the show about the making of
Godzilla. It reminded me a lot of a mix between "Brick" and "Battle of Who
Could Care Less". Just thought I'd throw that in there. I haven't seen it
before or since, and I didn't have a chance to record it.

all my downloads stop at about 15% or thereabouts and they play, but
kinda like a scratched cd - all jumpy and very weird. and they slow down
my entire computer to the point where it freezes. anyone know why??

obligatory bentent - don^Òt have any, how sad, I^Òll make some up...

Hey. I think it was John Sebastian playing solo at woodstock. Loudon
Wainwright III's great and it's a good comparison. I haven't heard his
latest, but I guess now I'll have to pick it up since you brought him up.
Will somebody do me a favor and SHOOT ME for selling most of my CD's?

BENtent: People have been talking about the possibility of the next BFF album
being recorded somewhere other than the house. What do you guys think are the
chances they'll record at the Hit Factory or one of the other big studio's in
Manhattan?

Rey
Hey, a web search tells me Loudon was born in Chappel Hill.

Ok, so I just got around to watching the Eddie Murphy SNL special. Sue me.
Anyway, I need a fellow Benatic who has the BFF/ Samuel L Jackson episode of
SNL on tape. If you've got it-- and I mean the whole thing, not just the boys'
appearance, e-me privately. I have a favor to ask (and no, I'm not looking to
trade for a copy of this episode).

Thanks for the time, and to every one else, stay off my ass, cuz this was
5-ulated.

Non-BF5 question:

You know how at the top of the digest it says "Volume 1"? Well, it just
occurred to me -- will there ever be a Volume 2? Maybe this has been
answered before, or maybe the answer is really obvious, but I try to
refrain from thinking when I don't really have to.

Oh, I was flipping channels the other day, and I came to some old TV
show with Cliff DeYoung on it. You know, he bears a striking
resemblance to Ben. Or vice-versa, cause I guess Cliff came first. But
did anyone else notice that? It was kind of funny, because when I came
to it I said "Who's that?" because I was thinking, "damn, he looks a lot
like Ben!" And my older sister (the one who turned me on to BF5
actually) said "I don't know, but he looks like Ben Folds." So anyone
else notice that?

BTW, this is the person formerly known as Zyah@aol.com.

Subject: BFF being covered... your opinion ?

Hi my dear Chairers !!!
So, this times, here i am with a brand new subject to discuss. You all know
that Bette Midler is going to cover "Boxing"... Oh well, it made me think of
this : which artists do you think could make good covers from BFF ?
I give you my own opinion about this question. I didnt have to think about
it, it came naturally to my mind... let me explain : the other day, i was
under my shower and as usual, i was singing, and as usual, it was a BFF
song. This time, i was singing Tom & Mary, but you know, i had this kind of
Tom Jones style, with a loud voice (dont ask me why i suddenly sang like Tom
Jones, it's like this). And i thought, it could do something great if Tom
Jones (the real one, not me) sang Tom & Mary. Oh well, i am sure it sounds
like i am raving now, but it's the truth.
Thanx for reading people !!!!!!!
Guillaume, the french BFF fan ; ))

PS: i am not a Tom Jones fan, i dont even know what he sings except one or
two hits of him.
