there are so many favorite bff songs I can't begin to count.....

I guess I could narrow it down a bit though......
1 Emaline-- there is something about this song that is like a magic wand
that makes you wanna sing, dance, etc.
2 The Ultimate Sacrifice-- it just so damn funny.
3 The Last Polka-- beautiful
4 Eddie Walker-- need I say more?
5 Where's Summer B?-- The harmonies in this song are BFF-a-licious
6 Alice Childress-- The only BF5 song to bring me to tears.
7 Mitchell Lane-- I meant to stop listing songs a long time ago but they
are all so good.

I know many of you don't care what my favorite BF5 songs are, but I
was just making conversation.

What up g? No diggity....we out.

BFF-a-liciously yours,
Lauren

Hey, I was wondering if anyone had the lyrics to "... Fannie Packs" especially
the "rapping" part, 'cause I have it stuck in my head and I don't know what
I'm singing! Thanks, E mail me or post it (CyberEm7@aol.com),

hmm....my dad likes the ELO. I've heard 'em, I can't say that I think that
they sound very much like BFF though. More..."electricky", I guess you'd say.
Maybe I'll give them another listen, I haven't heard them in a few years. Oh
well...maybe I'll change my mind. Interesting though...

did play guitar on Jackson Cannery a while back, and he plays everything
else, so...

Hey there chairers!

Yeah, it's me again with some random thoughts. First of all, does anyone know
what b-sides are included on the SFTD and Air singles? I hope they're new
ones cuz I just ordered them. And also, does anyone have the KCRW (are those
the right letters) live in the studio cd? I wanna know if it's worth buying
it for the live Alice Childress performance. I've been trying to order
singles from the s/t album online, but none of these trendy cyberstores sell
any of them.

Coincidentally (well, not really), does anyone happen to know what ben says at
the end of Bad Idea (NBP version)? It sounds like "i got this _?_ thing on my
dick" or so my friend says, but I somehow doubt that. And also.... don't I
just go on forever... i was wondering if anyone has written down the
dialogue/monalogue at the end of SFTD japanese. One of the boys is narrating
the story of bff "three young men..." and another one is rambling on (sort of
like me) in a country accent about his troubles simultaneously.

Just wondering, and thanks for reading,
Jon.

I was just wondering is there some kinda Ben Folds Five minidisc
bootleg(or singles) trading going on?....I mean I think I remember
reading thatt there was awhile ago (someone said something to the
effect of a minidisc trading list during that period when everyone was
leaving)...and I think I remember that someone bootlegged a show on
minidisc(the toronto phoenix show?...)...if someone could let me know
thta would be great(it would help assure me that I'm not really
heading towards the land of senility)

Umm bff content?(ha I refuse to use the shorten version of it = P)..If
you every get a peek at Sony's minidisc catalogue of stuff they sure
seem to use the BFF minidisc to prmote their accessories and
stuff...here's some links I found...i always found it kinda
funny....two thing I think are cool coupled together = )

Subject: Singles In Australia

Ok this is my problem.. I've been trying to work out the singles that
have been released in Australia. IE NO Imported ones just the ones
that were released here!
Off the first Album:
* Underground ??
    B-sides ??
Off WAEA:
* OAD
* Brick
* SFTD (to be released very soon yay!!!)
* BOWCCL ??????
    B-Sides ??

On another note I found it interesting to find that in a store in
Brisbane I found the single of Air imported from somewhere. I would
have bought it BUT the price on it was unbelievable! Now I know some
of you are saying now if he was a real bff fan he would buy it no
matter what the cost but it was two and a half times the regualr price
of a single and therefore cost as much as an album would!
Unfortunately I had to draw the line and say no :~( oh well if only I
were rich.....

Paul.

Subject: Re: a question

My favorite song is Song For the Dumped. There are two reasons. One is
just because I love how hard it rocks. The other reason came after it
was already my fav song. Story time!
I went out with this one girl about three times. The third time we went
to a pretty nice restaraunt, but that was our last date. She told she
didn't really want to go out anymore about a week later on her drive way
(back porch, sort of). We stayed really good friends though. Oddly
enough the connection to SFTD never clicked for me until months later.
"I wish I hadn't bought you dinner right before you dumped me on your
front porch."
Well, anyway, Spring Break rolls around and we went on a service trip to
West Virginia together. We hooked it up once again, but it was more
cataclysmic than last time. We ended up going out for a good while (for
me anyway). After we had been going out for awhile the connection to
SFTD just hits me. Wham! I started to say something about it to her and
she was like "Shut up" She knew exactly what I was thinking. She had
figured it out before but never said anything. So I teased her about it
all the time. Every time our friends listened to that song, we would
sing "back porch" instead. I kept trying to stuff this black T-shirt I
have into her book bag. It was all pretty humorous.
Then one night after the relationship had started to go stale, we ate
dinner and then went to a park where I was again dumped after dinner. It
happened twice with the same girl!
Well that's my story. Goddamn that was a waste of space.
Greg

hey everyone in armchair land!
ok, so I^Òve got quite a few people telling me my site doesn^Òt work. Then
some people tell me it does. I^Òm wondering which group are the majority

computer. So if everyone could go to

http://members.xoom.com/crystal_bf5/

and see if it works? If it does or doesn^Òt, e-mail me privately at
crystal_bf5@hotmail.com (not the one it says on the page - it says my
old e-mail whatever_45@yahoo.com b/c I haven^Òt got around to changing
the page yet)
So if everyone could do that it^Òd be a great help to me.
Thanks!

Ahh! Maybe I'll find some other way to hear whatever song they
contribute to the soundtrack, I certainly don't want to buy it. Let's
have a quiz -- "Which one doesn't fit with all the rest?" Actually,
though, the Murmurs aren't that bad, and I can stand the Cardigans.

Secondly, I would just like to add that I sent my letter to the
Spotlight @ MuchMusic. I don't get the station, so if they do appear on
there, is it confirmed that someone will be making copies? I don't
really need an answer to that question until it actually happens.

Joy to the world, the songbook's here! Sorry, I know I already posted once
today, but I had to get the excitement out of my system. After months of
patience I called up the 888 number today and they actually had a minimal
number of the self titled songbooks. So I ordered one! And it's coming! To
my house! For meeeee!!!! I am so friggin happy! Anyway, back to Benanza.

Yay,
Jon.

I read the post about bff featured in YM, I went to the store a little
while ago and looked through 2 of them... and what do you know..no
bff. Anyways, if anyone would be kind enough to tell me who's on the
front cover w/ them in it...katie holmes, katie holmes, or katie
holmes? Just curious. But serious, I'd appreciate it if someone
could personally e-mail me and tell me.

And a lot of you thought FANatic sucked..which I don't really to agree
with. Yes, I was fustrated that there had to be 3 the night bff were
on, but I wasn't expecting the spotlight on them. Anyways, it was
more about the fan THAN the band..so I understand why they showed more
of him. Oh yeah, and Dan, whatever his name was, was funny on there.

Yeah, and the other day I was fortunate enough to find the whatever
vinyl.. Okay, so maybe it's not rare, considering it's at cd now, but
what a find for me!

That's it..sorry for my babbling.

Leigh
