Dude, you missed the point completely.

and the Beginnings CD is not RARE....some guy sat next to his computer and
made a whole bunch of CDs off tapes that other people traded to him and now
he's making a few bucks on it. if you want the whole poop on the scoop,
mail me and I will re-explain it to you.

And yes, if I ever am forced to pay $19 for an American release CD by Ben
Folds Five, I will definitely be up in arms.

Regarding the BFF show scheduled for April 18, 1999 - Franklin and Marshall
College is located in Lancaster, PA, not Harrisburg, PA as it is posted on
the official BFF web site. In the past, F&M has sold tickets to students
only. Good luck getting tickets!

<1. ben HAS a life partner, he is not looking for a new one (his life
<partner is named jesse. I dont know his last name; he plays the drums. I
<know this because I saw an article about them in SPIN) ----- What the hell
<is this? This is new to me. Is this new to anyone else, or have I just ben
<living in a fold for the last six months? I read Spin, and I never saw
<that. I want date of issue and page number buddy. I always thought the

are you fucking serious? this is almost as bad as when i ended a post with
some lines from 'underground' but put after them that i forgot where i heard
them...it was a joke because who on this list WOULDN'T know that the lyrics
were from 'underground?' then i got a million e-mails telling me that the
lyrics were from 'underground.' Chris, whoever you are, rub the sleep out of
your eyes.

This was ridiculous. Isn't there someone who could monitor what is sent
out? This list has sucked for the past year or so.

Subject: Yep - J Hauer again

Hey,

Did anyone else find it rather amusing that the random BFF lyric on John
Hauer's website, .i.e where The Beginnings is (allegedly) for sale, at one
time read: 'Getting rich with their mail order scheme'. A line from Uncle
Walter I believe, and rather too close to the truth for comfort...

Has anyone heard from him since all this slating started, incidentally? I
thinks it's only fair that we get his side of the story - besides, I want
him to post the tracks from The Beginnings as mp3s...good idea, by the way,
Evan :P

Personally, I think Mr Hauer has, er, 'left the building', so to speak. His
site hasn't been updated since mid December, and he's missed out on several
important BFF-related bits of news since then. Talk to us, John!

Will.

Okay, I said the last one was going to be my last post for a while, but
I guess that I lied. Oops, sorry.

Well, after that post, I forget who it was from, I suppose that I'd give
it a shot. I dont know if this is specific enough for all you friendly
people out there, but I would adore anyone who would be able to feel
pity for a fan inexperienced with trading. Having never had the
opportunity to see them live, I dont have any bootlegs to trade. My
absolute favourite song, however, was covered by the boys and since gone
into retirement. If anyone has a bootleg with "Video Killed the Radio
Star" on it I would gladly send a tape with return postage to you.

There's my spiel, thanks you to anyone who answers.
