Hey- I went to my little local cd shoppe to put my name down for promo
stuff today and TUBORM (so the name must be official!) was listed as
coming out on the 19th. That would be so utterly amazingly great, but it
seems too good to be true- Australia getting the cd OVER A WEEK before
America? But if it said the 19th on two seperate lists... well we can
only hope!

so everyone knows, i'm not adding the FANatic thing to the archive as the
archive is for audio tracks. I am currently making a tape full of tv
performances but right now i'm just really interested in getting ahold of
FANatic and for the i'm will to give away an archive of mp3's on cd or i'll
give an audio cd of any tracks you'd like that you can get to me. later

I know anything of a commercial nature is looked down upon, but this is a
really good deal I thought I would pass on. And no, I don't have anything
to gain from this other than spreading the gift of cheap music.

So i was watching Charlie rose yesterday(don't ask) and Bette midler
was on and talking about her latest disc...she talked a sentence worth
of boxing, but she kept calling it boxer...oh and she called it 3
penny opera song....I have got to stop watching tv
So I was wondering if anyone out there had more info on the toronto
date, frank's page says it's at the Guvernment(Ooo how clever...a
U)..and up till recently the official page said Guvernment, until
today when I looked and it said the Government Hall(there is no such
venue?..right?!?!?)...also eye or now hasn;t announced the concert
yet, nor has Ticketmaster posted anything yet...I was wondering if
anyone had any info(mostly how much are the tickets going to be) and
if he Guvernment or the Government hall have a box office
thank you for your time

with paying service charges...damnit I don't want to be stuck in a
situation where I'm scrambling for tixs, the last club show sold out...
jut got off the phone with ticketmaster...they're not too sure
either...they said maybe by tommorow they'll have confirmation...
wow 2 posts...ok I'll stop now

Subject: MESSNER REVIEW
Well....I just got Messner and I'll just say this....Whoever told you to
expect something COMPLETELY different was right. This album doesn't
sound a whole lot like BFF. It's really QUITE mellow. But it's SOOOO
good. Very rich orchestrations. There are maybe two "fun" tracks. Army
(It's pretty obvious why this is the single) and Your Redneck Past. The
highlights for me have been
Narcolepsy (HUGE orchestrations, and very heavy classical influence)
Don't Change Your Plans
Mess
Magic (I didn't love Darren's version but this is really nice)
Army (LOT of fun. And of course, like all BFF singles (Save
Brick)...it's got plenty of expletives. REALLY funny stuff)
I think this album will throw a lot of people. But it's SOOO good. Even
on first listen. you've got something to look forward to. But listen
with an open mind. It's really a wonderful album.
