Leigh at Exit 13 has informed that Sirencd.com now has four more Army singles
up on their site INCLUDING a very interesting looking 2 disc set that includes
a copy of TUBORM. I've got all mine pre-ordered....do you?

I heard Army on the radio tonight. FM 106.3 at the Jersey shore is playing
it every 106 minutes! Usually, that's the first step before a song hits the
big NYC annoying top-40/alternative market. We'll see how it goes!

- ----

Next, and off-topic: If any of you Australians know anything about a band
from Melbourne called Litany, could you please drop me a line? I'm
interested in finding out a bit more abou them.

- ----

And part 3: I joined the Spacehog fan2fan mailing list recently. After
sending a message introducing myself (mentioning BFF briefly, of course) I
got a note back from Shipreked@aol.com saying simply, "fuck ben folds five."
Ahh...such nice people in this world! I give you all permission to harrass
him to no end! :-)

Elliott Smith on Friday night. Rock.

Hey,

It's only been a short time since I discovered BFF but I'm already hungry
for more than has been released. Does anyone have information or know of
someone with information on where I might find BFF boots on cd or cdr?
Hearing the live tracks on Naked Baby Photos only made me want more. Any
help would be appreciated by this newbie.

Thanks,
Scott

Since many of you appear to be heralding the amazing artistic success of
TUBORM, I thought I'd lay one on the rest of you, because these folks
are gettin' your hopes up. Many of you will be very dissapointed with
the album; it's a vast departure from everything they've done in the
past. There is a surplus of ballads, and ben uses (gasp) keyboards.
You will be upset when you first hear it. But don't give up. This
album is much deeper than their previous two, and is accordingly much
more rewarding. Ben's melody lines are amazing, and his piano playing
is better than it's ever been. The harmonies are complex, only outdone
by the complexity of the songs themselves. I'm telling you it will take
a few listens to get this album, but you will; really listen for it,
and don't give up on it. That's my 2 cents (I really wanna bring up
that debate again, that was fun as hell. Also, I hate teenyboppers and
young people piss me off at concerts :))

okies for the other Brisbanites I was in HMV & Rockinghorse & Skinny's
in the city and asled for their release dates for TUBORM. Interesting
results: HMV and Skinny's both said April 19 whilst Rockinghorse said
the 26th of April.
Anyone know if these are correct?
