what the hell is everyone talking about? THERE IS NO HIDDEN TRACK. atleast
not on messner. maybe they're talking about the version with 'pyser' on it.
or maybe they're talking about 'w'&ea'...can the person who *originally*
asked about the hidden track specify what they mean?

i love you, goodbye.

Hey 'chairers,

A couple of points:

What with everyone talking about how Ben should write a musical and stand in
for the guy who wrote the Charlie Brown music, I thought I should point out
something I heard on the news the other day - Charlie Brown is currently
appearing on Broadway as a musical. Weird coincidence.

Secondly, a few people have asked me about the b-sides to the Army single.
Just to remind you, all of them (Birds, Leather Jacket, Studio version of Dr
Pyser) are available as .mp3s on my site:

http://www.benfoldsfive.freeserve.co.uk

I should also have the original version of Magic (sung by Darren) in a
couple of days.

See ya,

Will.

Yeah yeah, so i like robert. Does he have a gf? Just wondring, and please
dont write back saying 'HES MY BOYFRIEND' cause it wastes space and time so
dont do that.

thanx anyways
You know whats weird? My best friend Julia always watches dawsons creek and
she saw it yesterday when they played Magic and she's like Oh Ben Folds Five
or whatever were on Dawson last night. What's weird is how they didnt even
mention them and Julia just said she "knew what they sounded like."

Are Ben Folds Five really that reconizable??

You guys probably know this, but there's a review and a really "cute" picture
of BFF in the May 7, 1999 issue of Entertainment Weekly. The mag sort of
slammed TUBORM, giving it a B-, and throwing around the word "prog rock" a
lot. Oh well.

Someone just posted about how Lullabye was played as an encore song at a
concert. I've always thought of the song as an encore song, since I bought
it!! It's one of those fun songs that really gets the crowd going as a
group--clapping and stuff--and it leaves you with a happy feeling about the
concert (or even TUBORM itself.) I think it's really a song that ties the
album together. Something new to love about BFF everyday...

We have no idea how this rumor started.

Don't worry.

I was watching Dawson's Creek yesterday night and in the background I
heard the unmistakable tinkling of piano keys and Ben Folds singing along.
I have never heard this song before, but I don't have TUBORM yet because I
haven't gotten paid yet....(I'm 16 okay!) So, if anyone else saw that
episode could they please tell me the song's title? Thanks!

Subject: Great SEATTLE gig for performers and bands

Last year, I was lucky enough to post this message on the armchair. One
of the bands who responded via the Armchair, Sinforosa, ended up winning
third place! Some of you may know Markus Kamp who plays drums for the
band... he's a huge Fiver fan.

This years BATTLE of the BANDS is in conjunction with the 57th Annual
Lake City Pioneer Days. First place is $500.

The contest is unique. A panel of judges who narrow down the entrants to
the six who actually perform don't get to see the name of the band and
have no idea if the entry is on tape or C.D. They don't see the fancy
promo packages. Soloists and small bands have just as much of a chance
as the big name bands. It's all in the recording, the talent, and
musicianship.

For more information on how to enter, go to:
http://www.jetcity.com/~maven/bob.html

Thanks for the space! Hope to see ya there!!!
