hey kids.

have you guys listened carefully to what ben's dad is saying on "your most
valuable possesion?" its awesome.
he talks about losing your muscles mass in space, musing that eventually you
would just be a "head or a mind." I listened hard to what Dean had to say,
and it blew me away, so listen up kiddies, its sweet.

thanks
andrew

Ok, so THIS IS THE END OF MY LIFE! Well, almost. The boys are coming to San
Francisco, the only place that isn't 400 miles away from here on the 13th -
THE SAME DAY AS MY BACCALUAREAT CEREMONY!!!!!!!!!!!! I even have to sing at
it!! This sucks fat ass. I guess going to the graduation ceremony isn't
that important, but I can't skip it even if it's to see bff. I figure I can
get myself up to SF before the concert ends and meet the guys afterwards by
the bus. But I'll still have missed the concert! Sniff....

Jon.

i think everybody's missing the point with this rumor of the breakup. the
fact is, people are beginning to wonder if the band can survive another hit.
its not from any silly songs lyrics, or anything the band has actually
stated...doesnt any one understand what a gut feeling is? i personally see
ben folds five lasting past this album but thats just me...NICHOLAS

Just a quick note about the Forum gig in London, which I have just got back
from. I can't remember the whole set list, but they did play these songs in
some order:

Don't change your Plans
Battle of who could care less
Army
Alice Childress
Last night in Town (quite whose I didn't catch, but it wasnt Steven's)
Philosophy
Narcolepsy
Magic
Hospital Song
Your Redneck Past
Regrets
One Angry Dwarf
Underground

Jane
Song for the Dumped

I'm sure I've missed out at least one song there, and the order is all
wrong. But it was a great show, and the crowd were absolutely wild. I'll
try and write some more later, but now I need some sleep.

Yesterday I was over at my friends apartment, and he had some Maxim (?)
magazines which he was making myself and the other female there read to
see if the articles were true. The magazine was kinda like a Cosmo for
guys in my opinion. Anyway, while flipping through the May 1999 issue, my
friend found an interview with Ben Folds! Since she knows how much I love
BFF, she gave it to me. I must say that it was pretty stupid, but the
magazine wasn't much of a gem either. There was a pretty nice picture of
the boys there though.

Also, I heard Army on the radio while driving home with my dad today, and
he got all excited when he heard the name of the album, because he had
just read an actual biography of Reinhold Messner! He proceeded to tell
me all about him and his expedition. Just thought that was a
coincidence!
