In Redneck Past Ben is saying.

"Sorry
I am American
Please Cook my Steak again (filet mignon..get it??)
I am American
Sorry
I do not speak French" (Ben translated this line incorrectly to make it
fit...it should be something like"Je ne parle pas Francais")

I am not a big French speaker but since I live in Canaduh we have to learn
it. Please do not bach me if I made a mistake:)

See ya
Alex

Somebody asked about San Diego. It's a festival for the local alternative
station, 91X. I personally don't really like them, I like their old
"competition" a lot better. 91X really didn't play ben till the other
station went away. Anyway, it's called the X-Fest and it's June 12. The
venue itself is called Open Air Theater on SDSU's campus. Quite a small
place for a festival, actually. Prices including a whopping 6 buck service
charge will be around 29 for reserved and 24 for gen admission. there
really isn't a lawn at the open air, so I think (THINK) the gen admission
section is the back end of the seating. Check out ticketmaster's site for
a seating chart. Tickets went onsale a few weeks ago, but I venture to
guess MOST tickets are actually given away by the station. So far the only
confirmed acts are BFF, Blink 182, and Buck-o-nine (the latter two being
San Diego bands). I hope they announce really good acts soon, as there are
more to be announced.

Subject: Whoa, WEIRD

Ok, I haven't been on Ben Folds Five's postal mailing list in about a
year. I moved, and never bothered to write a mail to them w/ my new
address. I never got a cool Reinhold Messner postcard...so I just think
it's REALLY WEIRD that I just got a Fleming & John cd in the mail. It's
got 2 songs, The Pearl and Don't Let it Fade Away and they're both
pretty damned good. I wonder how they got my address...

And to whoever was wondering about the lyric in "Mess": "I don't believe
in love, so I can't be..." I haven't had the time to sit down and read
the lyrics, so I've been trying to figure them out myself, and I always
thought it was, "I don't believe in love so I can't be tamed"...I dunno
though, that's just what it sounds like to me.

And since I haven't written in a really long time, I'll tell you what I
think of TUBORM, I think it's really damned good. Magic is the BEST. I
note the lack of crazy songs like "Song for the Dumped" or "One Angry
Dwarf"...but you know, even without the craziness, and with an abundance
of...I dunno...an abundance of songs like those that are on TUBORM :)
...it's still a pretty damned good cd.

This Fleming and John is really good.

changer: Burning Airlines, Mission: Control!; Ben Folds Five, The
Unauthorized Biography...; Tool: Undertow; Godsmack; Bjork, Post;
Fleming & John, The Pearl single

This Opportunity is New, Easy, and Fast. You have probably
never seen it before, even though many are making excellent
money at it right now. That is why it is the little known Secret
of many business people.

 ** The Dallas Morning News**

"This home business idea is new.. it can be a profitable income
producer. Since it's 'remote,' it doesn't matter where you do it."

A Word From The Creator of this Opportunity:

"My offer isn't a Get-Rich-Quick-Scheme. What I'm offering is an
honest computer-based service that you can run full-or
part-time, from home or office. This service runs automatically
while you sleep, vacation, or work a "regular" job.
And I've helped over 4300 people, from all walks of life, to start
and run this lucrative business." For Example:

* "In January I'll be able to leave a 17 year job with the
Postal Service. Good job, Rob! Keep up the great work!"
      R.W., Detroit, MI

So, why don't you let me show YOU how YOUR computer can
make MONEY WHILE YOU SLEEP!

Number One: That's not regrets, It's Redneck Past, and I don't know what
desole means so I'll just write it in. And correct me if I'm wrong, I only
take a french class, I'm not Guillame (sp?), the french ben folds five fan
(Nice Site, Man).
desole
I'm American
Please cook my steak again
I'm american
desole
I don't speak french

and then the song continues.

Subject: fabled hidden track

as far as anyone that has posted knows, THERE IS NO HIDDEN TRACK. someone
poster about it like weeks ago and here we all are, still screwing around
with our cd players like idiots. the person who posted has had no follow-up
posts about exactly what the track is or what version of TUBORM they have.
therefore, i believe that person was probably talking about whatever and ever
amen. once again, i will state that there is NO hidden track on the
unauthorized biography of reinhold messner. it is not on the digi-pak cd, the
regular (american) cd, or the australian cd. it *could* be on the promo cds
or perhaps some weird-ass sony release - but on every cd i've seen and person
i have asked, there is NO hidden track of any kind.

i just got fear of pop. its really good. i think it helps getting it after
TUBORM.

i love you, goobye.
