That was what was originally said as the reason and was posted here on the
Magical Armchair. However, as Frank just posted, they've added a new gig in
Chicago, on June 18, just a day after they were supposed to play here in
Seattle. Sounds to me like the "due date" thing (actually, it wasn't Ben's
kids, was it? is he even married still? if I recall, it was someone
else's) is just a smoke screen, if it was even the reason given by the band
in the first place.

If it was because of a due date, how in the world would June 18 be any
better than June 17?

Pete

Correct me if I am wrong, BUT THERE IS NO FRENCH
LYRICS IN "REGRETS"!!!!! It's in "Your Redneck Past".
How many people have been saying it's in "Regrets"?!!
 Geesh, idiots!

Darren is really a great artist. His work has been very, very impressive
as of late.

I think Leather Jacket was album quality material, just didn't quite fit in
with the other songs. Still a marvelous song, for sure!

Hi!
I don't know if any of you out there know me... but this is Rachel.. I
was at the Bowdoin and Tufts shows (as Leigh said "the first and last
showsof the northeast .. or something to that effect) in the front row, center,
jumping aruond and whatnot, wearing a green tanktop. Okay, that's my
official introduction.. you'll
never see it again. I've heard some whacked-out rumors that Ben and Co.
are perhaps coming back to New York for one last time before going
overseas in June.. any truth to this? An exact date would be much
appreciated. I checked a whole mess of online sources, but came up with
zilch. Thanks guys!

Some people were talking about some Fleming and John promo they got and how
good it was. Well, here's my 2 cents. I saw em at the Park West show when
they opened for BFF and I thought they were incredibly good. I met them
afterwards and they were super nice as well. I bought the cd 5 days later and
it's awesome. I highly recommend. -Erin

Hello Armchairians!!

I have in my hot little hands, a copy of Truth & Rumors. i found it at the
local Disc-Go-Round, at first glance thought it was TUBORM, but on closer
inspection noticed it was, in fact, Truth & Rumors. Why do I tell you this,
you ask? One simple reason... I have the ability to make copies of this CD
onto CD-Rs or whatever. I will be happy to trade a copy (on a CD) for a copy
of a BFF bootleg. If you can put the boot on a CD then all the better. Email
me personally for more info. ;o)

As I'm a bit dense, I was wondering if about 4000 more people could send me
the french translation of "your redneck past". I can usually get it after
reading it for about the 18000th time, but it just didn't happen. So, if
anyone could help me out here, thanks.

Also, I was wondering if all of you people could please waste my time a bit
more by arguing whether or not george is an ass. I love reading everyone's
opinion about a guy who could very easily be ignored by all. It's called
SCROLLING DOWN. If you don't like what the guy has to say, then try not to
read it. I had initially joined this list for the occasional nugget of
useful info, followed by a completely irrelavent line of useless blather
about people like George, or how cute (fill in the blank) is, and
seventy-five posts about "Magic" being played on Dawson's Creek for 30
seconds, and how much the people in Seattle or Phoenix want BFF to come to
town. So, hooray for MA. Idiots...

Subject: What the Heck

All right I am from Seattle and I have to say that I am a little pissed. I mean I got
all worked up to see BFF play and then they cancle the show. Then I am told that the
reason that the show got cancled is because Ben is about to have twins and that is why it
got cancled because they were due near the date that the band was playing in Seattle.
Now they announce a new concert date in Chicago. What the heck. What happened to
Seattle, I mean if they can play on the 18th in chicago why couldnt they have kept their
commitment to us fans in seattle and played on the 17th here. I could understand why he
would want to be with his kids but now I just feel like all us fans in Seattle are being
passed over and it makes it suck even worse because we didnt think we were going to be.
I realize that I am just sitting here complaining but I just want to say, if anyone knows
the person that is in charge of schedualing their shows or if someone knows Ben tell him
that there is a college student in Seattle who has been turned into a whining complaining
baby because he doesnt get to see his favorite band and it sure would be nice if they
would reschedual a show for all us fans here in Seatte so that way we wouldnt feel like
we got handed something really great and then got it taken away before we ever got to see
it. I am glad that the people in chicago get to see them, I feel happy for them, but it
still really sucks that they cancle a show here and then set up another show somewhere
else when the reason they cancled it here was a reason that if it was real should keep
the band from playing anywhere. Anyway, I just wanted to release some of my
frustrations, thanks for listening to anyone that did.

I remember the guy who said there was a hidden track said it was at the
start of the cd...
But um, Yeah,
311's Transistor has a secret track before track 1, you just rewind from the
start of the cd and it goes back
but I tried it with TUBORM like the day I got it (I do it to all my cds now)
and there was nothing there..

So um, yeah, nothing.

Hi ....

there re three types of hidden tracks s far as I know:

1. At the end of the last song after a long pause (the classic one ;-)

2. BEFORE the first song, only accessible by searching backwards (I have
one CD of this kind)

3. the rather dull variant: a track just not named on the cover or in
the booklet

enough of the "wonders of music" lesson for today ;-)))

Corrine - One of my friend's bought WAEA when it first came out. About
a month or so later I bought my own copy. Her's has the secret song
and mine doesn't. My guess is that the first issue of WAEA had the
secret song and then they deleted it. Think collectors edition for the
