• Where's Summer B appears on the compilation "Songs for Summer" (Oglio Records; released Mar. 21, 2000)
• Brick appears on the Razor & Tie Direct compilation Non Stop '90s Rock, one of those "As Seen on TV" compilations that also includes tracks by the Gin Blossoms, Counting Crows and The Verve Pipe.
• Ben Folds Five performed Raindrops Keep Falling On My Head on the cable special "Burt Bacharach: One Amazing Night", available November 17 on CD and on home video.
• Kate is on the soundtrack from "Sabrina the Teenage Witch".
• One Angry Dwarf and 200 Solemn Faces appears on the two-volume "Triple J Hottest 100, Volume 5" issued by the Australian radio station Triple J. It's available on the web from Greg's Music World in Australia.

• Air, composed for the movie "Godzilla", available on the movie soundtrack "Godzilla The Album" (Epic/Sony Music Soundtrax EK 69338). Released May 19, 1998. Produced by Brendan O'Brien; recorded by Nick DiDia at Southern Tracks Studio, Atlanta, Georgia.
• Theme From Dr. Pyser from the KCRW "Morning Becomes Eclectic" session, on Teleconned, Volume 1: We Want The Airwaves (No Alternative TRG 89380 2). Release date: May 5, 1998. The recording features the string quartet that the band toured with in the summer of 1997: Jane Scarpantoni, cello; Lorenza Ponce, violin; Heather Paauwe, violin; Dylan Williams, viola.
  To aid in finding this CD, the top sticker reads "ARD COMPILATION / TELECONNED" and would be located under Rock Compilations in most stores.
• A dance-mix cover of Brick by 3 A.M. appears on MegaHits Dance Party, Volume 2 on the Interhit label.
• Smoke is included on the DVD Best of Sessions at West 54th from their appearance on the PBS performance series.
• She Don't Use Jelly (The Flaming Lips), from the "Lounge-a-palooza" compilation released Oct. 7, 1997. Hollywood Records HR-62072-2. Featuring John Mark Painter, Fleming McWilliams, Shawn McWilliams, Todd Collins and the Love Sponge Strings.
• Issue 14 of Launch, a CD-ROM multimedia "magazine" available at newsstands and some music stores, featured video and sound samples of the band.
• Alice Childress, live performance from the Oct. 17, 1995 broadcast of the show "Morning Becomes Eclectic" on Public Radio station KCRW (Santa Monica, California, USA) on KCRW Rare On Air, Volume 3 issued by Mammoth Records of Carrboro, N.C. (Mammoth MR0162-2) This compilation features performances from 13 other artists as well, including Cowboy Junkies, Patti Smith, Fiona Apple, Stereolab, The Wallflowers and James Taylor.
