Dear Armcharians,
I've been silent from the Armchair after an overwhelming bunch of
hate mail in response to my not knowing who Ben was married to. I just
thought that I would throw out my opinion, even though it is
insignificant, to those who might find some value in it about the issues
that have been floating around the Armchair.
1. The whole pot smoking thing has just got to go, I wasn't even on
the Armchair when this thing had started and I am already very tired of
it. If you like the band, then what they do in their personal time
should really not be that big of a deal. And if you don't like the
music enough to get around something you don't believe in, then don't
complain to a whole bunch of people who love BFF, go say it to someone
who might care what your narrow minded opinion is. That's my piece on
that.
2. In a related issue, when I asked whether Ben was married to Anna
or Kate, it was because I wasn't really clued in on his personal life.
Why should I be? I don't know Ben except for the two minute
conversation I had with him and some of my friends at HORDE Fest. I
really didn't like the responses I got from everyone. Most were just
flat out hateful. Most responses were nearly in the region of saying I
was a bad person for not knowing how many pubic hairs Ben has. I'm
sorry if I'm not quite as educated as the rest of you on Ben's personaly
hygeine/personal life, but that doesn't mean you have to be nasty.
That's my piece on that.
3. I have to disagree with any nick-names that we might want to
give ourselves. I don't think it is that necessary. Even though I must
say Aaron Dawson had a pretty good argument/opinion for one, I just
think it is really unnecessary.
4. I am really sad that BFF is not on Sessions... because I have
yet to have my VCR ready to record for one of their t.v. performances
because I can never get the thing to work. If someone would be so kind
as to possibly notify me by the list or personally as to upcoming t.v.
appearances, I would be more than grateful.
Well, that is about it for this post. I guess I should be readying
myself for my next influx of hate mail. But if there is anyone that
would like to respond in a nice manner to any of this, please, go right
ahead.

Hey there,
This is my first time posting, etc etc, bare with me. I just thought I'd
add my views to the 'Who should play with BFF' idea:
1. Son Volt- a band from Mississippi (I think)
2. REM- Especially if they played a 'Monty got a Raw
Deal'/'Nightswimming'-type set
This venue would definitely kill if BFF played some of their heavier stuff,
like 'The Last Polka' and 'Evaporated'.
And on another note- does anyone know if BFF will ever tour through the
south-eastern states (specifically central Louisiana)? I keep reading
posts about BFF galavanting all over Europe and Australia, but not even a
hint at any southern shows. The south seems to always be overlooked when
it comes to good tours, and are instead plagued by Billy-Ray Cyrus and the
likes. *Sigh*...if only Jackson had been there instead of Pickett, things
would be different...
