Yes, unfortunately, once in a while someone will get subscribed to
the list and post something intended to annoy all of us. When that
happens, please just ignore it and let the moderator handle it behind the
scenes. Usually the instigator is lonely and looking for a little
attention. You can write to the person directly, but please keep it off
the list.

So how about saying I hate Hanson because, pure and simply, THEY
SUCK!!!? Musically, culturally, intellectually, they suck!!! Besides,
this is the Ben Folds Five mailing list, lest we forget, so why is
anyone debating Hanson here, much less defending them? Outside of the
fact that money spent on Hanson CDs is money not spent on BFF CDs, how
are they relevant to this list?

Never before in my life has there been a time when I thought that a
song was written about me until last night. I had to call and ex because I
thought she should know how I felt and that she had treated me like shit.
She was, needless to say, selfless, cold and composed. As I tried to get a
reaction out of her, all I could think about was the song and how it fit
almost exactly with our conversation. So Ben, Darren, Robert- if you read
this, I'd like you to know that you have again helped me through antoher
very rough time, just like I told you all in Somerset at HORDE. Thanks
again. Anyone else have a similar experience?

Subject: Uncle Walter on Real World
Hey I don't know if anyone else watches Real World but on Wednesday night I
was watching and all of a sudden a familiar tune came on as background music.
It turned out to be the opening of Uncle Walter. I just thought that
strangely odd but I was just wondering if anyone else picked that up.
