Hey again, everyone!

Has anyone in the Lawrence area found out about when tickets go on sale
for the November 19? I called the Grandada and they said to call back on
Saturday. As you can see, I haven't had much luck in finding out
anything! Anyway, if you know anything post it or send me a private email
or something! I'm going to call again on Saturday, in case noone else
knows what's going on, either, so I'll let everyone know what they told
me! I don't know about anyone else, but I can't wait to see them again in
a club setting!

See ya November 19!

tickets if you wish to get them early.>>

Well, you won't pay the service fee but Ticket Master still gets a protion no
matter what. Case in point:
<<I live in
Florida, and tickets come out to $19.00 for the BFF show. Know how that
breaks down?
$2 TM service charge
$8 to Ticketmaster, which they don't tell you about
$3 to The Buzz, the radio station that's sponsoring it
$7 to BFF, which will have to be split between managers and all>>

someone else wrote that...It sucks but if you want to see you're favorite
fans you can not boycott ticket master. later,

In a message dated 97-10-08 03:23:20 EDT, you write:

<< I think the fact that Pearl Jam got their asses handed to them when they
tried to a) stage a tour without TM and b) fight TM's monopoly on Capitol
Hill, only to have the lawmakers tell them there was no monopoly might have
something to do with BF5's decision.

Regardless of what some congressional subcommitee says is or is not a
monopoly, I think the utter failure of PJ's Tickmaster-less tour is a
testament to that monopoly. BF5 chose TM, likely, because they couldn't
afford a tour debacle like PJ had.>>
Im really sorry about all of my ticketmaster posts but....What are you
talking about? If you are Pearl Jam's financial advisor or manager or
somthing please let me know cause you would then know more than me. But, I
don't see how you say that PJ's tours have been a failure since they stopped
playing Ticket Master venues. The only problem would have been getting the
tour's going and scheduled. Once they got going, they sold out everything
and played some friggin awesome shows. The 96 tour for No Code was excellent
and Im sure the upcoming one will be as well. And as for BFF not going w/
someone other than Ticket Mater, I think it has nothing to do with PJ. BFF
is only a fraction of what Pearl Jam is and would not have a hard time in
putting on a tour which avoided non-Ticketmaster venues. If PJ played small
clubs, they would also have it very easy...but they play huge stadiums and
the likes. Ok, later,
josh

Hey BFF phreaks!
I know all of you will love to help me out with this one. After many
calls, I've finally got a telephone interview with Darren this Friday!
Anyone have any possible questions? I've already got some in mind, but I'm
sure you all can come up with even more. Please e-mail me directly at
GrnEgNham@aol.com or BEEFRED@aol.com

Also, someone told me that Rush Limbaugh plays their music on his show.
Does anyone know this for a fact??? I'd really like to ask him about this,
but if it's not true, well I'll look like a dork. Any help is appreciated!
