In my attempts to avoid my Statistics homework, I borrowed this month's
Elle magazine from my neighbor, and was pleasantly surprised to see my
favorite band mentioned! It's actually a little blurb about Sessions, and
they're only mentioned as a band that has appeared on the show, but I did
like the comment that the Sessions bands were primarily chosen for
"artistry."
My two cents on Brick becoming so popular: those of us who have like the
boys for a while naturally like to be possessive of them when they start
to hit it big, but we have to get over it. The local alternapop station
here plays Brick alot and my neighbors, who ordinarily wouldn't give BFF a
chance, have asked me about them. I let them borrow my cd to play Brick
over and over again, but on our road trip to VA Beach this weekend I also
made them listen to both albums so they'd know what the boys are really
about. For Ben, Darren, and Robert, their popularity is their chance to
share their talent and vision with alot of people, and I don't think we
should deny them the opportunity.
Anyway, I'll stop babbling and get back to inferences based on a single
sample now.
Still wishing I could go to the Charlotte show for my b-day,
Ginger :)

How many Armchairs must a girl go through
Before you call her a fan?
How many posts will it take till we know
That the discussions are getting out of hand?
And how many times can those idiots post rumours
Before they are forever banned?
Oh the answer, my friends, is clear and true,
It's obvious we need an FAQ.
Cheers,
Petra
PS: opening lines of 'SHE DON'T USE JELLY' are: 1ST VERSE: "I know a
girl who thinks of ghosts", 2ND VERSE: "I know a guy who goes to shows",
3RD VERSE: "I know a girl who reminds me of Cher". All straightened out
now? :)
