I'd love for Darren to teach me a few things;)
Hey kiddos, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy's new album is going to be available on
Dec. 30th! check out their website for more info www.bbvd.com
I can't wait. They've added a piano player and I hear that they really
cook. If you don't have it already, their S/T debut is OUT OF PRINT! so
don't go searchin'.
> and how about 'Barbie Girl' for a BF5 cover?
Brilliant idea! i can just hear Ben singing it now "I'm a blonde bimbo
girl in a fantasy world...." now that's comedy!
Hey, i'm wondering is anyone planning on taping the L.A. El Rey show? i
would, but I don't have a recording device. bummer.
anyone who went to the WESTMINSTER show-- DO YOU HAVE A TAPE OF IT? i
used all caps this time since last time I asked, no one answered. I'd
love to get a copy of that show. I have lots of stuff to trade. please
email me.

ALL AUSSIES LISTEN UP!! Hope this will put a stop to the discrepancies.
If you are still confused about the screening times of the online
concert, then ring OPTUS on 0103 and ask the luverly ladies there to
convert the times for you. they will gladly do so, and they're accurate
as all hell.
ADELAIDE TIME will be 1:30 pm on monday 1st. (we are in daylight
savings, remember)
How's that for a nice decent time? BF5 over lunch; lovely.
Cheers,
Petra

Nope, according to my globe it's anywhere form 12-2 pm depending on where you
live (west to east). I had originally posted 12-2 am, but it is actually 12-2
pm.

<< the no-guitar-zone will be violated on 1/13/98: check out "emaline"!! >>
Hey Lou posted this on the armchair, and I think I have some possible insight
to offer (since Ive been listening to the upcoming record non stop for the
last 3 days). The version of Emaline on Naked Baby Photos....Ben Mentioned
that Emaline was left of the first record because the label wasn't
comfortable with marketing an album with 15 songs, Like they wanted. The
version has guitar and would have blown the "guitarless thing" He says they
allways thought it was the single. Many of us have the Majosha record...and
the version of Emaline is very close to the one on Naked Baby Photos. Theres
louder piano, and new backgroud vocals on the "new" track. Perhaps the guitar
player in Majosha had something to do with the writting of the track, and
they just overlayed some tracks on to the original, Or perhaps during the
recording of the first BF5 they invited him to "sit in" on the track. The
fact remains that Emaline was a Majosha song long before it was a BF5 song,
and that has something to do with the guitar on the track included on Naked
Baby Photos. And it sounds close to the same as the Majosha version, and the
"demo" version thats been floating around. But hey, this all doesnt really
matter....The song sounds great...and is adding guitar to a BF5 track a
sin....I think not, I play guitar along with the records all the time, and
think it adds alot.
Greg.

I am really into both BF5 and Moxy Fruvous. Moxy is a Canadian band, and
if you haven't heard them, you SHOULD! They're very simiar to both BF5 and
TMBG, but a little "weirder" lyrically. Try to find an album. You'll like
them.
