In a message dated 98-02-10 01:16:11 EST, you write:
<< The CMJ magazine from February 1998 has Goldie on the cover. It also
has Goldie, Sublime, Bruce Cockburn (great artist), et cetera on the
cd. But no BFF. However, the March of 1998 issue does have Ben Folds
Five on the cover. The cd in the March issue starts off with Smoke
(live). No fooling. If it hasn't hit yer fave newsstand yet, it'll
prolly be der t'morrow. Enjoy. Now, how the hell I found this before
some of you more rabid fanatics, I do not know...
Discuss and write 2,500 words on the subject by Thursday.
Pat >>
actually there was a review of naked baby pictures inside of the febuary
edition of cmj. it wasn't that bad of a review and it said that ben folds five
was one of the better b-sides collection even though it was not is the best
new music section like the self titled cd and whatever and ever amen cd was,
but they did get thier redemption in the march edition though.

i just could not remain passive on this silly arguement for any longer. the
line in question is... "...smoked a bowl with caleb, [to] fly away, and settle
down..." caleb? - you know - caleb southern? - caleb southern, their producer?
b
(yes, i meant to switch the bs and the ms in the subject line - it is kind of a
play on words - get it? - mixup? (boooo, hissss))

Ben took his shirt off at the Seattle show, so if any of you want to see a
picture of Ben Folds topless (!?!?!? :) ), head to

Jason,
FYI, Darren wrote all of the words and most of the music to Mitchell Lane.
Ain't it great! Just thought you'd be interested.

Hi everyone :)
I'm new to the list, and I'm aware that you are not all happy with
Brickheads, but the song "Brick" is what opened my eyes to the wonderful
world of BF5...yes, I know, it's sad to say, but now I can appreciate
all their other songs...well, the reason for my posting is...I just got
my new Rolling Stone (the one with Kate Winslet on the cover (the girl
from Titanic)) and there is an article about BF5 in there. The article
isn't that long, but at least the author had nothing but good things to
say about them :)
Bye for now :)

I've asked before with no luck, but here goes. Did ANYONE tape the Ypsi show? If you did, please let me know. Since I can't get tickets to the Clutch show next week, could someone let me know if they tape it know where I can find it? Thanks!

OK OK
Don't overwhelm my inbox, but I have four extra tickets for the show next
Friday(Ticketmaster sent me 8 tickets instead of 4) at the Hammerstein
Ballroom in NYC. I would prefer to sell them to long standing fans. Not on
the Brick Bandwagon. Can't wait for the show. I officially go into double
figures(10 times) at this show for seeing them live.
Email me and wow me with your knowledge of the band and maybe I will reply
