Hey, whoever mentioined the great Ethan Embry, I totally agree. He's got
a cute Ben type quality to him. Hes also in the modern classic teen
flick Empire Records, and his performance is truly great in that.
I was watching some Elton JOhn thing on VHI, and a young elton in normal
clothes really looked ben like, too. Ay!
Reason # 219 that BFF kicks ass:
I was running around my cafeteria, frolicking demonically, spazzing out
before my school play to the melodious sounds of OADA200SF and SLNIT.
grand!

anyone out there with a copy of DOMO BEN CHAN DESU willing to trade or sell? I
can go as high as i need to. And no, sorry folks, i cannot, due to recent
fedral regulations, sell my body for experimentation.
I gotta have it. Here's another idea: I have a writable CD drive. I can burn
some copies of the disc, then send it back at a marginal cost. You lose
nothing. I can attest to my honesty, as can other armchairites.
If not, don't reply. If so, send me some email privately.

funny that someone should mention that... I was at a bff concert here

First a question: How many UNDERGROUND cd singles were put out!!!??? I
have three and each has TWO different b-sides.
SOMEONE WROTE:
>>none of the regular posters that were on when i first joined post
anymore. They all >>seem to have moved on to other lists
Naaaah, we're just patiently waiting.......................
SOMEONE WROTE:
>>You know that Nissan Truck commercial where the dog pushes the guy in
the chair
>>down the road. Well they [nissan] stole that idea from the Uncle Walter
video.
Actually, I think the BF5 director stole it from an NBC promo. Dat chair
sho do git around!
SOMEONE WROTE:
>>WE know u love BFF thats y u r on the armchair an do u honestly think
anyone cares >>about ur tickets..please stop wasting space.
Awwww, now let him share his joy. Is "that" why you abbreviated your
words? Afraid of wasting space. Feel free to just write them there words
out in all their glory!!! U can do it. Now go 2 it.

Is anyone looking for the Underground singles? I could probably get a
sealed set of two of them. I don't know, maybe $25 or $30 including US
postage. I'm not positive but you can ask me if you're interested.

So, I have tons of new, there is a pic of ben in the smash hits in australia, (some
crappy teenybooper mag) i got it off my friend.
Power Fm (ballarat radio) is having an interview with DARREN! I say Darren sometime
this week, was gonna be tonight. SO i rang up, to plead with them to let me talk,
and the dj told me it was darren and i'm like 'OH MY GOD'
and then he put me on air, calling me the biggest bff fan around, I was so embarrassed.
I wish I taped it, he took me by surprise. Then he said that dwarf was the 1st single
off waea, and I corrected him on air, and he said he'd say happy b'da to darren for
me.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO DARREN!!!
SO excited, they're gonna be talking about me.
So i'll have this darren interview soon.
email me at julianne@ronscomputers.com.au now, i can't send from there yet, but I
recieve. So if you wanna trade, when I get it I will!!

the list usually goes down whenever i post but i just had to chance
it.......
my daytime-tv-watching-student son alerted me to the fact that bff
were on tv this morning. introduced as "one of america's favourite
bands at the moment" they did Brick over the closing credits of
this morning (of all programmes...) and got cut off just after
"tired of lyin' ". they were miming, which was probably just as well
because Ben, prompted by Robert, started laughing half way through!
pretty good bff day altogether really - i just got in from buying the
two Brick cds, both very cool.
cd 1 : Brick
Missing the War recorded at Georgetown uni. on 4.12.97 (or 12.4.97 if you prefer)
She Don't Use Jelly from Loungapalooza
cd2 : Brick
Smoke recorded on Morning Becomes Eclectic 17.7.97 (or..)
Song For TheDumped, Japanese version
v.nice packaging for cd2 too :-)
maybe this is the week they'll be on tfi as they're over here...
chris
p.s.
for those of you in the uk, Our Price, £1.99 each :-)

Subject: AUSTRALIAN rare stuff... and US people with bootlegs.
Fivers,
Firstly Aussies, i was wondering if there are any of you australian BF5
fans collecting rare stuff, or rather singles and anything that aren't
albums. if there are, then please tell me what you have, i'm really
interested to know what there is in australia. this is what i have:
The three normal release albums (der)
SINGLES: 'underground' (pt1), 'where's summer B.' 7", 'battle of who
could care less' (pt. 1 & pt. 2), 'kate' (pt.1), 'one angry dwarf...' and
'brick' (i only know of one each of the last two, the dodgy cardboard
packaging one)
A friend of mine also has an uncle walter single that i've never seen
in a discography anywhere... and wont sell it to me :( i've offered up to
$45.
This next bit will mean nothing unless you live in melbourne. there was a
'song for the dumped' single in HMV (bourke st.) for the last few months.
it was the battle of who could care less cover, with the words 'song for
the dumped' written there instead. the b-sides were 'bad idea' and 'for all
the pretty people'.. anyway.. it was $12.95, for 3 songs i already had, and
a picture i already had... so i hadn't bought it.. but i always planned
to.. but now it's gone!!! someone bought my CD... and i wanna know who it
was. So if you are on the armchair.. lemme know.. cos i am going to track
you down and steal it... really.
Lastly, if there is anyone in the US willing to send bootleg tapes to me,
(or australia if you have them) for nothing much return (unless you want
the afore mentioned singles... ask if you wanna know the b-sides) then
please email me. i will send you the postage if you want. thanks.
thank-you for your time, if you read it that is... if you didn't then why
not? go back and read it... now!!

So Brick is out in the UK now then. Anyone actually bought it yet? If so
what are the B-sides, I am hoping for Mitchell Lane. Also I actually heard
it on the radio the other day, Chris Moyles played it again although I
can't help thinking he would rather be playing OAD or Song for the Dumped
instead. Happy hunting.
