I was at that Darien Lake concert!
And I'm not an incredible Dave Matthews Bands fan, but I am going to the
August 2nd concert at Vernon Downs...possibly the July 26th one at SPAC, too,
but I doubt it.

fact that the NPR station near me does not carry it.>>
If you're a true BFF fan, you'll call in sick just so you can stay home and...oh wait...
oops, nevermind.

Hey hey-
a few random questions/notes:
--Okay, my girlfriend and I are having a dispute. We have different views
on who sings what on "For Those of Y'all That Wear Fannie Packs." If a 3rd
party could settle this...that would be great.
--For those of y'all that don't like BNL...I hear ya. While they are
okay...they're not as good as everyone makes them out to be. Hmm...maybe
were're the ones that are weird.
--To the person who answered my question about Darren's inability to eat
beef: Why is that? Is it some horrible childhood experience? And how
exactly do you know this...?

Does anybody know when they will be showing the Fanatic with BF5 on it?
Isn't BF5 on a SNL rerun this Saturday? I hope so.
Oh and I hate BNL.

Subject: MILLER'S TOP 10 BF5 COVERS!!!!!!!
Hey all!
My name is Miller and I don't post much (you're lucky). Well, I have been a
BF5 fan for 2 years now and I love them more and more everyday. However, I'm
finding a problem with some of the suggested COVERS that are being submitted
as requests to be done by the boys. I mean c'mon, who wants to hear Radiohead
being covered? Or anyone else that is currently having success. The key is
to pick people who either SUCK, used to SUCK, WERE (and are NOT NOW) TRULY
FANTASTIC, or groups or artists you've never even heard of!!! Why make a
cover of something that was popular a couple of years ago by say, Aerosmith?
That would just be an embarrassment. The reason that the covers that the boys
have made in the past have been successful or good or funny or goofy or
whatever and NOT dumb are because they picked songs by artists by one of the 4
categories mentioned above. Now, onto my picks for the TOP TEN BF5 COVERS
SUGGESTED BY MILLER!............................................
10. "Father Christmas" THE KINKS
9. "When I'm 64" The Beatles
8. "You're the First, My Last, My Everything" BARRY WHITE
7. "Movin' Out (Anthony's Song) BILLY JOEL
6. "Kung Fu Fighting" KARL DOUGLAS
5. "Lola" THE KINKS
4. "You Can Call Me Al" PAUL SIMON
3. "It's Raining Men" THE WEATHER GIRLS
2. "Ruby, Don't Take Your Love to Town" KENNY ROGERS
1. "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" CINDY LAUPER
Ok, well those are my current picks for the top 10 covers for BF5 to do. Does
anyone else agree? I'm sure if you hate them, don't worry.....my picks will
probably change by then since I'm so fickle. Well, before I go, let me put
another ponderance upon you guys and ask you what you think of this: A cover
of several popular TV theme songs!!!! I've got only 4 in mind right now.....
1. Silver Spoons
2. Mr. Belvedere (great piano in this one)
3. Fame
4. Golden Girls (see #2's comment)
Well, now I'm sure I've sparked a riot. Let me know what you think. Oh, and
if you're reading Michele.......thanks for giving me my BF5 self-titled CD
back.......A WEEK LATE!!!!!! Just kidding. Have a good weekend everyone!

I know this is a little late, but where can I find an MP3 of Air? When
everyone was talking about it, I didn't have an MP3 player or anything. But
now I do. So if you know of a place, please e-mail me. I've looked around,
can't find anything. Thanks!

Hey, since I've recently just gotten my own car, I've been looking for a
Ben Folds Five bumper sticker with which to proclaim my great appreciation
for the band. I've been to all the music stores around Richmond and have
found only Smashing Pumpkins, Dave Matthew's Band, and other such bands.
Could anyone tell me where I could order one or if someone has access to
some that I could buy? Also, the same goes about posters.
Finally, does anyone know when the Ben Folds Five Hard Rock Live and
Fanatic are going to air?
Thanks,
Ben
