I think Paul asked one of them or something and Robert asked Ben if they
should play one of the songs that they were doing in the soundcheck (I got
the soundcheck recorded! Damn cool!)

I'm not arguing...but I am younger than 16...I bought BFF shirts at the
concert (along with me wearing my others I got ages ago) and you all know
that I am NOT a brickhead....sooo...don't go bringing age into it again....

it may have been said, if not I'll say it now, There were an abundance =
of
video/audio recording equipment at the Sydney SHow 27/7/98. I talk to
some of the stage guys and they said it was for a Sony Documentary,=20
so there you go Frank, something for you to follow up..... (i also asked =
to
see Doug, and they looked at me kinda suprised, like how did i know him,
but then i kinda chickened out and said I only wanted to see if it would =
work,=20
never got to meet them.. maybe next time, are you all sure they dont =
mind
that sort of thing??)
Also, because of the camera, the boys really hammed it up, they were
rocking in a major way, for all the BASS-PLAYING TECH. HEADS, Rob
played alomost all of his songs with his Octave pedal on, so the bass =
was
REALLY DEEP...... made a sort of thudding/doonk-king sound when playing
ereally low end stuff
Plus Robert finger picked almost entirely half of the set-list, prob =
just to show
versatilaty (and it looks better on camera...!!)
So there you go....

Ok. I have gotten a shitload of requests so far. But there is one
problem. I am not really interested in money for the CD. After all that
is illegal and I could never possibly except money for the genuis of
Ben, Rob, and Darren. If you sent me money i would have to send it to
the guys. lol. I know alot of you would like to get ahold of these
GREAT songs but I can only trade for another trade. The trade doesnt
HAVE to be Ben Folds Five but I would perfer Ben Folds Five.
Expect answers soon to your E-mails. I have work so i am a little too
busy today to reply.

we are now offically -1 days to the concert.
i saw them yesterday! rock, rock, rockity, rock.
and anyone else at the enmore would have to agree
with me.okey. my brain is slighty screwed from
imbiding copious amounts of beer so my set list is
not here. look at another post for that. hmmmm.......
oh yeah. the guys just went nuts :)
the tickets that i got improved as the concert went
on (from the foyer to the 2nd row of seating) and so
that was cool. the crowd (excluding present company
of course) was not really into it as much as i
expected but that didn't stop us going nuts. there
were some pretty cool people there though. amazing
showmanship from the boys. met them after the show.
coolness.
ill post a full review later on but i need sleep now.
okey, now for the plea. ANYONE who taped this show
(27/7/98, enmore), PLEASE mail me! i need a copy
because my tape got wiped from the freaking x-ray
machine on the plane. i REALLY need a copy. please
mail me if you got a bootleg of it :)
turblence in a 8 seat plane in 100km/h winds sucks.
copious amounts of codine are running through my
system to try and get rid of the headache developed
by headbutting the lid of this tin can, Grrrrr.
anyhow, i gotta go and recover from 3 days of sleep
deprevation.

I have a copy of Friday night's concert so email me about it if you
want it.
To the person who was wondering about what Ben and Robert were talking
about on stage, Julie found out for us and apparently Robert started
playing something that they'd made up in the sound check and ben was
arranging to play it later or something like that. Apparently they
did, though I don't remember hearing it.
Anyone who'd like to a copy of friday nights concert let me know and
maybe we can work out a deal.
BTW meeting the guys on Friday night was one of the greatest moments
in my life, cos they're just great guys!

to be one of my favorite groups right up there with Ben Folds Five.
OH MAN! This depresses the hell out of me.
I am gonna go listen to there last (and one of their best) album, Coil.

Now come on. How can you say that just because someone goes to all the
concerts they are a big fan. It doesn't mean jack shit. If they really
loved the music they'd be happy just sitting at home listening to the
albums. I would goto all the concerts if i could but just because i can't
doesn't mean i'm any less of a fan. It just makes me sick to think you
could actually say something as shallow as that.
I have an example. Lets just say you (author of the original message)
owned only the strict ben folds five albums. But your a true fan.
Anyways, you hear about a guy who owns all the t-shirts, the bumper
stickers, the posters, the imports, goes to like two concerts but yet
doesn't appreciate the music as much as you do. I don't know these people
so i don't know their liking for BFF but just because they have enough
money to see all the shows doesn't mean they are TRUE fans. There is a lot
more than money that goes into being a fan. I don't doubt they like ben
folds five but i'm saying is that if i could do that with my life i would.
Every fan would but they can't. but that doesn't make them less....
