I was watching the SFTD video (my family was kind of wondering why they heard
faint laughter coming from the den) and I was wondering, where was it filmed?
I think someone said before, but I guess I forgot. Also, who came up with the
idea for the video? I know I'm asking these questions a little late, but
better late than never, right?

Also -- anyone feel like writing something about BF5 for the Generation Y
website? For The Vault section. Basically if you can write coherently, know
a lot about them as a band and whatever else, you can do it. I would do it
myself, but I have to do it for about 50 other bands/artists. Or if there's
some other band you'd like to let people know about, that's great too. If you
want an idea about what to do, check out the one I did for Athenaeum (the only
one up so far).... <A HREF="file://C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\blank.htm">athenaeum.html
at www.geocities.com</A>

Hey, nontent -- you know that song Hooch by everything? It's about an
alcoholic beverage, apparantly. I didn't know that. But any1 have that CD?
I'm wondering what it's like. E-mail me personally if you know!

Bye,
Lauren

<<why have so many people managed to find BOWCCL in second hand CD
stores?? I scour my second hand stores but I only ever saw brick... I
actually haven't seen BOWCCL anywhere>>

I got it way back when it was released...:oÞ BUT...I know where I can get
one...in ACE condition...so let me know if you really want one..
Speaking of BOWCCL singles...my friend got one...but it has Champagne
Supernova, Dr. Pyser AND Hava Nagila and Fannie Packs.....and it's an
Aussie release...??????????? I dunno about you guys, but I am damn
confused!!! (its the same cd with all 4 b-sides on it)

<<Nah, no way, I'm 99% sure he never says this
I think it's

 having it is bliss
 sunshine is amiss>>

I got lyrics from somewhere and its got:
"happiness is bliss, the sunshine isn't missed"

But I really think its "having isn't bliss"

About the webring thing...I've applied alot of times....and get the email
saying if you didn't get in I'll get an email telling me that...I never
ever got another email off them...
speaking of my website...I was in shock when I found out it was on JJJ's
net 50 links page!!!!!! http://www.abc.net.au/triplej/net50/links.htm
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
WOAH!

I think another webring is a little silly...it will just bring more crap
competition for bff on the net...

Hey all,

i made a post about sheet music about a month ago. I
play by ear very well, and have been playing BFF
covers for almost a year now, so most of the songs
are pretty good. i've seen some sheet music on
pages(posted on here) that are allright and if you
can ad lib you got it. of course no one plays like
Ben, and i can't either, but my trans. are pretty
good. if you have any requests, just mail me and if
i can get my midi cable soon(ordered it) i'll do it
for you. Last post i made i didn't have my cable,
still..

Also all of those who mailed about the Cancer
Research Tape, it will be put on hold again, til i
can find a drummer, and a bassist for some songs.
The guy that had all the recording equip.(and of
course the drummer) left town(no much warning) and
now i have nothing but a tape with some songs. well
thanks for your interest anyway, and when i get it
out, i have all your emails.

thanks,

kevin tyburski

I have a few things to say:
     1) My post was an act of anger, and was very foolish of me. The
Underground Web Ring is a fine collection of web sites, and I am truly
sorry for the insult.
     2) Pointing out my spelling and grammatical errors is a childish
and immature way of trying to insult me, and is not appreciated.
     3) Other insults by Don Curtis are not appreciated either.

Subject: all sorts of things, a lucky dip as it were

I have several things to put here

1. the person who was looking for maxwell tapes in the general brisvegas
area- they can be found at audiopro on george st in the city- not
cheaply either.

2. when the heck is the SFTD single being released in brissie? I look
and I look in all the stores in town, from the good reliable ones, to
the dodgy top 40 ones, and nowhere can it be found. very sad I am.
impatient too. ignore me. (but tell me when it's being released!!!)

3. someone mentioned WAEA being at no. 11 on the album charts in oz?
yes? well, not disagreeing with you in any way, but just adding an
interesting (or not)point to that- it sort of depends which chart you
look at (or rather I look at) coz on one it says the boys are at #16 on
another it sayeth #12 and on another (and my heart did stop and then
jump high for joy) a veritable #10! so wherever they are, these are good
numbers i'm seeing and I agree with whoever said it was a thing to be
happy about.

4. I was looking over a pile of song lyrics for reasons I don't want to
go into here, and I noticed (probably belatedly- soemone else likely
made this point when I was looking the other way) that the Beatles
'Being for the benefit of Mr Kite' (off the Sgt. Pepper album)
has some lyrical similarites with T&M, most noticeably the first line:
'For the benefit of Mr Kite'- after that it becomes less direct, but
still evocatively similar.

Now before ya'll jump down my throat: I am not in any way implying that
ben has done anything remotely like copying, in fact he may have never
have heard the song in his life (I know I haven't, I've only got the
lyrics) I just thought it was a cool coincidence. (maybe he was directly
referring to it? who knows? does it matter?) and I wanted to share it
with people who hopefully won't get defensive. so those people who have
heard the beatles' song - what you think on this?

(after seeing some of the mean comments to the girl who didn't get on
the webring, is it any wonder I'm scared of some of you people - more
power to you lauren, ignore those sad people)

well I think I've been opinionative enuf for one post

taves

'C is for cookie, cookie is for C....'

one more thingy
for those of you in brisbane who don't have the OAD single, I saw it
yesterday at the record market's secondhand store (down escalator) in
the CD singles section under B (obvious that), but they have a v.quick
turnover there, so I imagine you'd have to be prompt to get it. (maybe
ring to get it held, if you're desperate, they can do that)

it looked in good condition

ARE YOU READY TO REACH NEW PROSPECTS WITHOUT THE TECHNICAL HASSLE ?

DO YOU USE DIRECT EMAIL MARKETING?

Direct email uses similar principles involved in the familiar model
of direct postal mail. If done correctly, one's success is sure to
come. If not performed correctly, then it becomes a case of luck.

THE 4 BASIC PRINCIPLE OF DIRECT EMAIL:

Are you familiar with the four basic process involved in a successful
direct email campaign? These basic steps are what the professional,
consistent and successful direct emailers use. They are the foundation
and root of the direct email model. The basic process includes the
 following:

  1. Consistently accessing new and fresh lists
  2. Consistently updating lists
  3. Consistently sending your ad at reasonable intervals
(repetition is the key = look at TV commercials)
  4. Optimizing your ad and subject to a more "order pulling" ad

 DO YOU KNOW AIDA?

AIDA is an acronym of the model used in creating powerful and
effective sales letters, which is widely used in advertising today.
Grab one of several direct mail and direct email letters and read
them at least three times. The powerful and effective letters follow
 AIDA. What's AIDA stand for?

       A    =    grab the prospect's "ATTENTION"
I = create "INTEREST" by providing some information
D = create stimulaton the produces "DESIRE"
       A    =    demand immediate "ACTION"

Do you need current and supplemental prospect email lists ?
Do you need fresh lists every day, every week or every month ?
Do you need more new prospects - never reached before ?

If you answered yes, our Email Update Service will provide you
 NEW and FRESH email contacts.

NEVER RUN OUT OF EMAIL PROSPECTS ! !
