Well since he was so kind to voice his oppinion of the song how about
us MAers voice our oppinion? Lets vote so as to get it even higher in

For those BNL Fans out there we in Australia have an EP release for
One week. It's a five track EP containing 4 songs from their previous
albums and claims on the cover to be an Aussie only release.

ok this is to do with a website I am putting together for a university
assignment... I'd still love to find more pics of the guys in concert.

I just realized that there seem to be alot of people who like Selfless Cold
And Composed and Song For The Dumped. Neither of these songs are really all
that great in my opinion. Boxing or Last Polka just seem to move me more. I
was wondering if there were any other people who like the mellower earlier BFF
or if you are all just a bunch of rock crazed feinds.

hey, i forgot to mention this, but apparently, WENZ (107.9 in Cleveland) is
somehow connected with Much Music (in toronto) and on some Cleveland-area
cable networks, there is a show called "much Cleveland" where they play
videos who's songs are #1 on WENZ or somethingorother.
my POINT, and i do have one, is that my mom and brother have both told me
(since i rarely listen to the radio) that SFTD has been the #1 video/song
the last week or so. This means that when they have the radio version of
Much Cleveland, and play the songs for the videos, they have been playing
not ONLY Sftd, BUT the video version.
that is, with the Japanese in the middle.
okay that took a LOT of typing just to get out.

don't get me wrong, I like how they are having so much fun with it when

See, now I would never try and do that. The only way I can possibly
approach this kind of topic is to list the songs I COULD NOT LIVE
WITHOUT. This is still hard but for some reason the mindset helps me.
I COULD NOT LIVE WITHOUT : Underground, Eddie Walker or...Missing the War
it's still not easy because i'm leaving out emaline and best imitation
and air and philosophy and jackson cannery and battle and evaporated and
one angry dwarf and kate.....MAN CAN HE WRITE SOME GREAT SONGS!!!!

Subject: BEN ON MTV LAST NIGHT
Last night, I'm watching 120 Minutes on MTV at 1 am. A new video from
the Squirrel Nut Zippers comes on called "Suits are Picking Up the Bill"
and at the very end of the video, who do i see? Ben!!!!!
The plot of the video is The Squirrel Nut Zippers as the main course for
dinner at a restaurant. Before they are cooked they get away. As the
song is fading at the end, Ben walks in and says something like "Are you
still serving dinner?" or something like that, I can't remember, and the
cook smiles. In case you don't understand or I didn't make it clear...
the joke or whatever was that Ben was going to be their dinner. I was
really surprised to see him.

Furthermore, it has the cutest kiddie on the front. Now those of you

well I agree with you that they are truly bewtiful (gave me chills the

i remember there was a fave harmony thread on the armchair a while back
and from memory I think it did well. Whatever. it's a great song.

In the new Squirrel Nut Zippers Video, Ben has a short Cameo appearance at
the end of the video when the band splits. Ben walks in and says, "Can I
still get served?" and then stands there for the rest of the video. It was
a shock to see at 1 something last night. Check it out though. I would also
like to take this time to give props to one of the best musicians I've ever

me bears an uncanny resemblance to Ben Folds. I know it's not the real
Ben but it got me thinking....how many other armchairians know someone
who looks like Ben, Robert or Darren? I think it would be fun to have a
look-alike contest or something. Just a random thought on the first day
of what promises to be a loooong senior year........
