I was so excited today while shopping at my local, and crappy mall. I happened
to be looking through the posters at Spencer's and found a BFF poster for $6.
Well I am cheap so I didn't buy it but I am definitely thinking about heading
back over there. Wow--I can't get over it. -erin

HI All,
I was very excited to hear about the tour, but very bummed to learn that the
show at American University was students only. Are there any American U
students out there who have been to shows at Bender Arena, or know how to
score non students tickets to these shows?? Any help would totally be
appreciated, thank you ! Please respond to me directly (i'm not on the list
yet)

Hey Chickens!!

(call me stupid, but) I have decided to take up the shirt thing where
it left off.

That's a good thing for us Aussie's, not so good for others as
postage may be slightly higher.

Anyway, the first step will be choosing the design. I've called a few
printing companies, and would just like to advise that the price
seems to escalate sharply for detailed designs with many colours.

Another thing (sorry to get dictator-like, but this could get
extremely complicated so I have to decide a few things first), the
shirts will be Australian made, cotton or polycotton, one colour,
round necked and short sleeved.

So just a few restrictions for my sake...
1. Limit yourself to two colours
2. Simple design
3. Small print on front/ large print on back
4. No profanity

(if you have a huge problem with this email me and i'll see what i
can do)

The second step is getting an idea of how many shirts to print. I'll
only be able to finalise the price after i know how many we'll need
(sorry), but it shouldn't be more than $A 20. I have no idea about
postage to the States or Europe, but I'll find out soon.

If you think you'll want a shirt (I won't hold you to it this time...but
please try to make your mind up quickly, as i want to get the shirts
out asap.) email me privately with the number of shirts you want,
an idea of size (sizes will probably be limited to keep costs down)
and your idea for design.

I'll try to keep this private so as not to clog up the 'chair (nice to
see things moving again :-).

So if you're interested please write to me privately or you might
miss out, as i'll only post to the 'chair occasionally.

see ya chickens (sorry for my long winded ramble)

responsible for any lost mail or socks)

THIS IS FROM AOL NEWS

Fleming & John to Join Ben Folds Five Tour

NEW YORK, March 30 /PRNewswire/ -- Wife and husband team FLEMING & JOHN will
be hitting the road with Ben Folds Five beginning April 16th at Bowdoin
College in Brunswick, Maine (see additional tour dates below). FLEMING & JOHN
are touring in support of their recently released sophomore Universal Records'
album, THE WAY WE ARE.
Fleming & John's association with alterna-pop piano man Ben Folds goes beyond
the tour. Folds has contributed to both FLEMING & JOHN albums (lending
background vocals on "I Fall For You" and a CO-writing credit on "Ugly Girl"
for
THE WAY WE ARE); while the duo collaborated with Folds on his recent FEAR OF
POP VOL.1 release, as well as the soon-to-be-released Ben Folds Five
album(John arranged strings and played horns).
Like their first album (DELUSIONS OF GRANDEUR), THE WAY WE ARE is self-
produced and was recorded at FLEMING & JOHN's home studio (located in their
living room!) in Nashville. JOHN arranged and played all of the instruments
(except drums) on the album. Meanwhile, FLEMING matched his
virtuosity with her lyric and melody writing and mind-boggling range. Already
press is voicing kudos for the album, such as Request Magazine, who gave the
album a "Pick Hit" and said it " ... mixes the multi-instrumental marvels of
John Mark Painter... with the unpredictable but always forceful vocals of
Fleming McWilliams.

Hey chairers!

Last night (29th) Ben Folds Five was up against
the Black Crows <?> in the Cage Match on 105.7 the
Point in St.Louis. Well, that's where they play the
song, and people call in and vote. Well, Ben Folds Five
won! They got 105 to the Black Crows with
 51. And, if anyone from STL was listening, and they
heard the girl named "Amy" on the radio.. that was me.
:) See ya!

Hey y'all....anyone else hear Chicago in the horn section of "Army?" I do. I
recently acquired the radio promo of it from WHMP, 99.3. For all of you in the
Northampton area, they're not playing it because they gave it to me :) They
said it wasn't "radio-friendly" or some other crack like that. I was tempted
to whoop some ass at the radio station yesterday but my boyfriend doesn't like
it when I do, he thinks I show up his manliness or something crazy like
that...

Amherst....who's going??

Sarah ;)

Good news for all us UK fans. The band is going to be on TFI Friday on =
9th April. For a show that has been officially declared "naff" that is =
pretty cool. You may remember that their first live performance on =
British tv was also on TFI, where they performed 'kate'. Seems like =
Chris Evans is a bit of a fan. That is usually the death knell for a =
band.
