Does anyone know of any way to get the sheet music
for the violin parts on TUBORM? I have been playing
the violin for almost 10 years and it would make me very,
very happy to play something by Ben (especially Magic!)

Thanks Alot!

Yep, ticket sales seem to postponed for the Seattle show. I talked to
the Ticketmaster clerk and he said that he recorded the show date down
as the 16th. However, I had it in my calendar as the 17th. He called his
office and they verified that there was a date problem and said "Don't
worry, they're coming, they just don't know when." (Too bad they're
already booked for the Bumbershoot weekend.)

I'm thinking... the Paramount must have double booked? Maybe? Just a
guess.

Given the circumstances, too bad they can't just mail us all advance
tickets! (which we'd pay for, of course.) Seeing as we all went to all
that trouble of getting up early on a Saturday and going to stand in
line in the rain and everything.

Anyone know anything about the show in san diego? what kind of festival are
they playing? is their set gonna be all short? is it general admission or
reserved seats and lawn tickets? email me at mookie9@aol.com if you know
anything. thanks.

Also, did anyone with the digipak tuborm get the secret track to work? I dont
think my cd has one. That is so cheap. what a dumb marketing ploy to prey on
die-hard fans. hey, sometimes die-hard fans are also broke college students.

George, just chill, man. We don't all need to hear your innermost thoughts on
everything under the sun. Please, people, I beg of you all, let's keep this
digest on topic and on a friendly wavelength. I did not subscribe to it to
watch people bash each other.

That was indeed a classic moment on the Armchair when Slk24kgj@aol.com posted

telling George where his place is. George is the worlds biggest loser. I
think that everyone should know that by now. Yeah he is just another Cram

Yet another post from someone who really has too much time on his or her
hands...

To anyone I haven't e-mailed in awhile, I haven't forgotten about you, I'm
just lazy and not e-mailing people right now. Sorry. I rented Goodfellas
and Rerservoir Dogs for the weekend, watching them for similarities. So
I've seen that one scene is Swingers when they talk about the
Quentin/Scorsese thing one too many times. Northwestern students in my
dorm seem to watch Swingers religiously. Goodfellas is one of my fave
movies of all time, and I felt that I should really compare the two after
hearing so much about the two. I'm more of a Pulp Fiction kinda gal than a
Reservoir kinda child (and a Beatles person, in case anyone is wondering),
and I had never heard about the comparisons the first time I watched
Reservoir Dogs. So on another Scorsese note, tomorrow I go rent Raging
Bull, which I haven't seen, due to the fact that Taco Bell gave me a free
movie rental for being such a devoted customer (please don't hurt me for
not having seen this supposed wonder of American cinema). Speaking of
movies, I saw a fascinating one today called The Apple. It's about two
girls in Tehran who have never been outside their home, and it was done
less than two weeks after their first foray into the outside world.
Absolutely amazing. If you have an artsy movie theater around you, check
to see if it's playing, and then go see it.

Anyway, moving on to something that's (almost) related to BFF, my roommate
randomly and mysteriously got a promo Fleming & John CD single in the mail,
complete with the sticker warning us not to re-sell the thing. As if, we
love them! The point here is that I was wondering if any of you guys could
help us figure out where it came from, because we have no clue why it got
sent to us. The return address is in Red Bank, NJ. Thanks for the help.

Finally, something truly Ben. I gave my sister her BFF signed birthday
card last weekend, and she nearly died, she was so happy. It definitely
made it worth giving to her, just to see her that happy. And as an added
bonus, she passed her driver's test on Monday. Of course, my brother
wrecked the kid's car on Wednesday, so her license did her about 48 hours
worth of good. Now she has to beg my parents for the use of one of their
cars. I'm just hoping we have a new car by the time I get home for the
summer.

Anyone else hoping for a BFF Summerfest date? That would totally rock my
own little bubble of a world, not to mention that of my brother and sister,
who haven't seen the boys since October '97. They'd be able to go to see
them again. I know, just a little dream of mine, but a girl's allowed a
few hopes, isn't she? Okay, well, I'm gonna go watch some more movies.
The Bonnie Situation in Pulp Fiction is sounding like a plan to me. Chat
with all of y'all later.

Sarah (Can the first time BFF entered into my life be considered Divine
Intervention? Like if it hadn't, I would be another Backstreet Boys
groupie? Hmm, I think I'll ponder this one for awhile...)

I think that pianogtar should shut his mouth and know his role. He also
needs some prozac which will eleviate his mood.

<<because what's the point in going for a jog round the block when your
jogging partner is Ben Johnson on crack. >>

I hear that Crack is what helped Ben Johnson beat out Carl Lewis in the 100
meters at the 1998 olympics. It makes you run faster from what I hear too.

<<me in row 2>>

Can I buy your ticket?

<<Come ask Will Owsley any questions you may have about
his instruments>>

Um I want to know if he used a nose flute or a melodica on his latest album?
Can you help?

<<Shut up sara, I like George's posts, I think they're cool>>

Forget Prozac, when you recieve posts like this who needs it.

<<What is "arse"???>>

It is one of those I am too lazy to say a cuss word words.

I have never been to ebay myself but I am curious if someone has a heroine

Hi,
Yesterday I went to the concert in Glasgow and it rocked! They played in a
weird venue consisting of a tunnel and the acoustics were kind of distorted.
  Besides that, they were awesome.
At the end of the show, some people were handing out flyers that read they
were scheduled for a concert at the Barrowlands on Dec. 19 (I think..) and
tickets go on sale May 24. You can get probably more details and the tixs
at Virgin stores. Just to let all you crazy fans know theres another chance
to see them in Glasgow!!!

Later!
Winnie

Hi guys.. this is a change for me. I hardly ever write on the MA, but I need
a little help. I'm giving a speech on Ben Folds Five in my communicating
class. I've basically got most of the information I want... but any little
extra tid bits would be wonderful! It'd add so much more to my speech. I
will present it Friday, so I've basically got until Thursday night to get
everything together.

Also, anyone going to the St. Louis show on the 1st?! Just curious.
