Ben Folds will give a special performance April 16 at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C., in conjunction with the 25th annual Nancy Hanks Lecture on Arts and Public Policy. The lecture, to be delivered by actor Alec Baldwin, is presented by Americans for the Arts, a leading nonprofit organization promoting the arts and arts education. Ovation, the arts television network, is co-sponsoring the lecture. Both Folds and Baldwin will also participate in activities around the nation’s capital for Arts Advocacy Day on April 17.
